My Experience with Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Angel Waterproof Mascara:

The mascara comes is a regular cardboard packaging with the entire product-related information printed on the backside. The mascara tube is beautiful metallic purple and black in color. The packaging looks quite girly and eye catching.

The mascara applicator is quite different from regular applicators. The applicator looks more like a comb with short and sparse bristles. The applicator wand is pretty long. The applicator is made up of straight plastic material with sharp spiky bristles but I am glad with the fact that these bristles are not pokey. It strokes out easily without smearing the upper and lower lash lines.  The brand says that the applicator has the push-up cup design that scopes the lashes from the roots and pulls them upwards. Let’s see how it actually works.

This shade of the mascara I have got is called “Very Black” and it is indeed a deep black mascara. The pigmentation of the mascara is good. It gives that perfect black color. I loved this mascara even more because it does not contain any fibers like my Maybelline Barbie Mascara and others because the fine fibers mostly gets into my eyes and irritates them so much. Hence, this one is pretty safe to be used on my sensitive eyes and with contact lenses. It does not cause any eye irritation. My sensitive eyes waters very easily, and this mascara does not cause any eye allergy on my sensitive eyes at all.

In terms of texture, the mascara is slightly on the thicker side. It is very smooth and creamy. The mascara is definitely a lengthening one but it does not really add volume to the eyelashes. I did not face any issues like flaking, smearing and smudging with this mascara.

Since, this is a waterproof variant, it does not come off when comes in contact with water. It does not make my eyelashes crunchy or too stiff. It is pretty comfortable to wear. It gives nice curling effect to the eyelashes even without using an eyelash curler and surely gives a winged effect as it claims.

It gives kind of incredible length to the eyelashes. It does not clump my eyelashes even upon layering. It never weighs down my eyes lashes. I prefer applying two-three coats for the mascara to show up properly.

The lasting power of this mascara is around 5-6 hours. Removing the mascara is slightly difficult as it is a waterproof variant, but using a good eye makeup remover with an oil-based formula makes the removal easier and mess free.
