My Experience with Maybelline Fashion Brow 3D Brow and Nose Palette – Dark Brown:
Maybelline Fashion Brow 3D Brow and Nose Palette comes in two shades – Light Brown and Dark Brown. I have dark coloured hair so, I chose the shade “Dark Brown” as it was the darkest choice available. Now, let’s begin the review with the packaging of the product. The eyebrow palette is sleek and quite sturdy. It contains a wax powder, a fill powder and a sculpting powder arranged from left to right in the palette along with an angled-cum-fluffy dual-ended brush. The palette has a clear lid and has the brand’s tagline embossed on it. The back side of the palette bears the ingredients list, product description, etc. Everything about this packaging is perfect, but it does not come with any mirror, tweezer or a spooley brush. So, I had to carry them separately. Overall, the palette is compact and travel-friendly.
Now, let us talk about the three products in the palette.
Wax Powder: It is dark brown in colour. It looks pretty much like a thick wax, which helps to set the brows in place. The texture is thick and smooth. It glides and spreads easily on my brows. The powder has a decent pigmentation, which delivers a perfect colour payoff. It blends easily ensuring a hassle-free application. Although the wax powder blends easily and sets the brows in place, still it gives a wet/shiny look to the brows, which I hate as I always prefer a powdery finish.
Fill Powder: The powder is light brown in colour. The texture of the powder is super smooth, which never gets patchy. The powder is decently pigmented. The colour is perfect to provide a natural looking brows. The powder is lightweight and buildable. The more intense the colour looks, the more defined the eyebrows are. It fills the gap between the brows nicely.
Sculpting Powder: The sculpting powder is the lightest of all. The shade suits perfectly for nose contouring. The formula is light and smooth. It is non-chalky and decently pigmented.
This kit comes with a small dual-ended brush. The brush has a fluffy blending brush at one end and an angular eyebrow brush at the other end. The bristles are nice and soft.
The lasting power is somewhere around 4-5 hours. Overall, it is a good quality eyebrow kit with an affordable price tag.
