My Experience with Maybelline Fit Me! Blush – 204 Medium Pink:

Maybelline Fit Me! blushes have been pretty famous for a long time, and I am glad that Maybelline launched these in India too. I was actually expecting a lot from these little bushes because they were so much raved about.

Packaging:
The Maybelline Fit Me! blush comes in a little rectangular compact pan; the pan holds the blush palette and the brush. It has this transparent lid over it which makes it very easy for us to see the colour through that window. The transparent lid opens and closes with a click, so now worries of fall-out of the blush. It has the shade name and the description written behind. I like the size since it makes this blush so travel-friendly.

Shade:
The shade, Medium Pink, is actually a very soft and a subtle pink. Being the only pink in the Fit Me! blush family, I was expecting it to be a bit brighter because only then it would suit the Indian skin-tones. The pink is a nice, pretty, rosy pink shade that looks extremely natural on the skin. It gives me a nice romantic flush on my cheeks making me look all glowy. The blush is something that would complement only fair skin.

It will look ashy or probably not show up on medium to dusky skin-tones. I was slightly disappointed with the shade range because I don’t think they are as bright as expected in order to complement Indian skin-tones. The blush has a nice shimmer base and the shimmers are very fine which give my cheekbones a very beautiful highlighting effect.

Texture and Pigmentation:
The texture is very smooth and does not feel powdery or chalky on my cheeks at all. But it causes a lot of fall-out in the pan while picking it up for application. The pigmentation is something that this blush lacks! The pigmentation is very poor and it takes me 4-5 swipes to make it finally appear on my cheeks. In the first 3 swipes, it does not actually show up. This is pretty tedious and annoying because we are makeup junkies and we have used better blushes that show up in the first swipe itself.

Staying Power:
The staying power, again, is disappointing because it stays all fresh and glowing for the initial hour, fades after a while and finally vanishes off after 2 hours. After 2 hours, there are just some shimmers left on my face, which look very cute; but, there is no colour.

Overall:
I really think these are average blushes; and I feel Maybelline could have done slightly better. This one would have been a very nice blush had the pigmentation and staying power been any better.

Pros of Maybelline Fit Me! Blush – 204 Medium Pink:

• Very handy, compact packaging
• See-through packaging
• 3 totally different shades to choose from
• This shade gives me flushed rosy pink cheeks
• Shimmery particles highlight my cheekbones and give a subtle glow
• Great for everyday wear
• Great for fair skin tone

Cons of Maybelline Fit Me! Blush – 204 Medium Pink:

• The pigmentation is poor
• The brush bristles aren’t that soft
• It won’t show up on medium/dusky skin tones
• Does not last for more than 2 hours
• Maybelline tests on animals

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Maybelline Fit Me! Blush – 204 Medium Pink?
No, I wouldn’t really recommend this one. The two things that we look for in a blush – pigmentation and staying power are average. The Cheeky Glow blushes work better than these.

IMBB Rating:
3.4/5

Conclusion:
The foundation and the concealer work pretty well from this range, but the blushes definitely lack a few things.
