Fit Me Blush in Deep Coral 2

My Take on Maybelline Fit Me Blush in Deep Coral:

I was looking for a coral blush for a  long time and I found this range “Fit Me” by Maybelline on the Amazon site. I asked my friend to order it along with a few other stuff and she got it for me from the US.  The moment I had this in my hand, I was disappointed to the core. I wanted a coral one and hence picked the shade “Deep Coral,” but the color in the looked all pink.  I felt like stabbing myself with a knife 😛  The packaging was nothing too fancy, a regular plastic case, comfortable to carry.

There’s no mirror, but a hopeless brush. The bristles were not soft and decided never to use that brush again.

The color looks pink with a pinch of coral and slight shimmer.  The shade actually looks darker in the pan, but when applied/swatched, you need powerful eyes to pick the shade. It shows up very subtly.  I swatched it several times on my wrist and the color did not show up. It badly lacks pigmentation. On my cheeks, when I apply with proper makeup, the color shows up very slightly. It gives a little sheen and a tint of pink to my cheek bones, but no way does it appear to be coral, maybe on fair-skinned girls, this color might show up, but medium to dark skinned people will need to layer it up.

Coral Blush 5

The staying power is very poor. It gives the slightest tint for barely 3 hours and its gone.  The blush is very powdery and there is a lot of fall out when you try to pack it on your brush.  The blush doesn’t get picked up easily on the brush.  It says “ideal for users of expert wear blush”- what does that mean.?

What I Like about Maybelline Fit Me Blush in Deep Coral:

  • Well, there is nothing I like about this blush!!!

What I Do Not Like about Maybelline Fit Me Blush in Deep Coral:

  • Poor color pigmentation.
  • Named as Deep Coral, but the shade is far away from coral.
  • Low staying power of 2-3 hours.
  • Packaging, nothing too fancy, useless brush.
  • Will suit only light skin people.
  • Has fall out and hard to pack on to the brush.

Do I Recommend Maybelline Fit Me Blush in Deep Coral?

No.

Overall Verdict:

I thought that Maybelline had revamped with this new Fit Me range, but no girls, don’t get carried away. It’s so terrible. Don’t you get annoyed when you buy something which doesn’t meet even the basic expectations? I will use this for those days when I need the “no make up look.” Otherwise, this is going to rest in peace in my dresser.
