Hope all of you are doing well and feeling great about yourself! Today I will be writing about a lip gloss from Maybelline called Fruity Jelly Lip Gloss. This lip gloss comes in 8 beautiful colors. Cherry Kiss, Berry Bella, Crazy For Caramel, Sparkling Grape, Mad About Melon, Treat Me Sweet, Tempting Toffee, and Mint Sheer. The color I chose is Cherry Kiss. I brought this product about a year back but was never able to use it much as I lost it somewhere, but last week I found it in one of my bags and then started using it again.

My take on Maybelline Fruity Jelly Lip Gloss – Cherry kiss:

Cherry kiss is a sheer gloss with red tint in it. It looks little red in the tube but becomes completely sheer on my lips. I brought this particular shade as I thought that it will give a light red shine to my lips, but I was a little disappointed with it. This lip gloss did not fulfill my expectations but I do not regret my buy as it has many good points.

Firstly, it feels hydrating on the lips and of course gives a beautiful shine. It does not feel sticky and remains on the lips for around 1-2 hours (which is not at all bad for a lip gloss). Cherry kiss itself does not give a color but looks beautiful with a red lipstick. It makes it look redder and more beautiful. I love its packaging too. It is a small tube which is very convenient to carry even in a small purse as it does not occupy much space due to its small size. It does not contain shimmers. The best part about this product is the quality you get at such an affordable price. It is one of the best lip glosses for starters who do not want to spend much on lip glosses.

Cons of Maybelline Fruity Jelly Lip Gloss – Cherry kiss :

• Becomes completely sheer on the lips (especially if you have pigmented lips).
• It feels hydrating once applied but after sometime lips start feeling little dry.

Would I buy Maybelline Fruity Jelly Lip Gloss – Cherry kiss again?

Not this one but yes I will try other colors. I may also buy this color for gifting it to my teenager cousin as she loves sheer glosses.

Do I recommend Maybelline Fruity Jelly Lip Gloss – Cherry kiss ?

Yes, I do recommend this as it is a good product for those who do not like much color on lips and prefer sheer shine on the lips. It is good for beginners too as it is affordable.
