What I like about Maybelline Fruity Jelly Lip Gloss Crazy for Caramel

  • A thin layer of when applied on lips is quite non sticky.
  • It feels quite hydrating on lips.
  • It lasts on me for almost 2 hours with drinks and snacks. It’s pretty good for the gloss.
  • Does not settle in fine lines.
  • I like the shade. It’s sheer peachy brown with golden shimmer. On its own, it is almost sheer and looks like a clear gloss on me. The best thing is that though it has obvious golden shimmers in it, they are well blended with the gloss and don’t go all over the place. Infact, they pretty much disappear when the gloss disappears leaving no ugly looking chunky shimmers behind. Also, the shimmers are not gritty.
  • For those who love high shine glosses, this pretty much is. Infact ,the shine stays on quiet long if you dont eat or drink too much.
  • I like the tube packaging. It’s not only cute but also hygienic and barely takes place in your purse.
  • The price is awesome.

What I do not like about Maybelline Fruity Shine Lip Gloss Crazy for Caramel :

  • It smells horrible. It smells like burnt caramel to me and it is so strong it totally stays there for quite some time. It has a slight caramel taste to it ,which is not as bad as it smells. It’s almsot nauseating. But smells are personal so def smell it before you give it a shot.
  • If you end up applying a thick layer of it, it would last pretty long (lasted on me for mor ethan 4 hours with a meal and some drinks and snacks) but it gets so thick and gooey. I mean for a first few minutes my lips almsot felt like I had applied gum on my lips. So be careful there.
  • My lips felt quite dry every time the gloss wore off from my lips. I have tried it a couple of times and every time I had to apply a lip balm afterwards.

Overall, fun cute glosses. Great stuff for college or school going girls. Definitely smell them before you purchase. Thin layer feels great on lips. Even on chapped lips day it feels quite hydrating till the time it is on your lips. If you are looking for more opaque gloss, guess you should skip this shade in particular.
