Since Christmas week is here, I wanted to review a makeup product that screams Christmas because whenever I look at it, it gives me a very snowflake-y feel. I’m talking about an eyeliner that is a beautiful silver color and perfect for the holiday season and a glam look. I’m pretty sure this is what I’ll be wearing on my eyes this Christmas. It’s Maybelline Hyperglossy Electrics eyeliner in the shade Silver Trance. Read on to find out more about it.

My take on Maybelline Hyperglossy Electrics eyeliner in Silver Trance:

Packaging– Maybelline Hyperglossy electrics liners also come in the same packaging as the regular hyperglossy eyeliner. The packaging is sleek and compact. The eyeliner tube is actually very tiny and it has a long applicator brush handle. The packaging looks very cool. At the same time, it is also very sturdy and travel friendly. Also, since the Hyperglossy electrics range comes in color-coordinated tubes, it is easy to sort out different shades if you have more than one eyeliner from this range.

Shade: Silver Trance, as is obvious, is a silver color eyeliner. It is like a slightly darker tone of silver that almost appears as grey. It has tiny glitters which look very nice. Since this is not an eyeliner that I would normally wear on a day-to-day basis, I am fine with it having some glitter particles since once in a while, a glam look is nice. This shade of eyeliner looks absolutely gorgeous when paired with a bright red lipstick and gives a very Christmas-y feel. The eyeliner has a glossy finish which stays intact all throughout.

Texture: Texture of Hyper glossy electrics eyeliners is the same as Hyper glossy regular eyeliners. The texture is neither too thick nor too runny. The texture of the brush is also nice, with fine bristles that do not feel harsh at all. I really like how it has such a thin brush so the thickness of the liner that I want on the eyelids can be controlled. The eyeliner needs around 3-4 swipes to give a solid silver color. It stays on me for 6+ hours without much smudging though I have to be really careful about not touching my eyelids very often. The eyeliner has a quick dry formula and dries up within 30 seconds. It does feel a little heavy on the eyelids but that’s maybe because it requires 3-4 swipes. All in all, I’m pretty impressed with this eyeliner.

• The eyeliner has a glossy finish and it also contains minute glitter particles which look fab for a glam evening look.

Cons of Maybelline Hyperglossy Electrics eyeliner in Silver Trance:-

• People who prefer matte eyeliners or who do not like glittery eyeliners can skip it.
• The eyeliner is not waterproof.
• Needs good 3-4 swipes to show up on the lids.
• Not an everyday-wear eyeliner in my opinion.
