As I mentioned in the previous review, I picked both the lip balms from the Dr Rescue range of Maybelline, I will be reviewing the Icy Mint variant today. I really did not like the fresh mint one, so I sincerely hoped this one works out well for me.

My Experience with Maybelline Icy Mint Baby Lips Dr. Rescue Lip Balm:
The packaging is cute and very summery as you can see. The twist-up packaging is always ahead of tub ones and here all the detailing is in white and blue which is so cool. I think the cool blue detailing was related to the Icy mint theme. Other details about the product are mentioned on the back of the outer packaging.
The texture of this balm is slightly on the harder side initially but after a few uses the balm starts getting in normal consistency. It applies well on lips without being too slippery or oily. There is a whitish cast on the lips after initial application which looks awful but smudging it with finger tips takes away the cast.
The icy mint really feels icy cool on the lips and surprisingly the cooling sensation stays for a good 15-20 minutes. I find this to be great for the summers as anything cooling is always welcome. Considering the SPF 30, this is great for day time wear as well. Unlike the fresh mint variant, this does not have any funny fragrance to it. Except for the availability and the initial white cast, this is a good one from Baby Lips range by Maybelline.
