Maybelline In Just Pinched Pink Face Studio Master Glaze Review

Warm hugs to fellow IMBBians!!!

If anybody happens to notice the trend of products I usually review, they would know that I love eye makeup and blush and I never step out of my home without a sweep of kajal and dab of blush, even if I am running late and it is DEFCON 5.

I find powder blush a little more time consuming than cream ones, mostly because they require a little more time to blend than the cream ones. Here is a review of my latest love!

My Take On Maybelline In Just Pinched Pink Face Studio Master Glaze:

I have used Maybelline blush from the ‘dream’ range and I love the healthy sheen and flush it imparts. I use it mostly during dry days of summer because it makes my face look dewy against dull and dry faces of people around me.

I stumbled upon these Face Studio Master Glaze blushes by chance (I saw one of my friends’ use it) and since then have been crazy about them. This range has 6 shades to choose from and they are just not mere variations of pink and beaches but rather vary from pink to peaches to plum.

Packaging:
The product comes in a jumbo size, lipstick form, about 3 inches long and 1 inch diameter. It has a plastic cap with clear cover top to recognize the color easily. Packaging is very thoughtful and hassle-free; simple twist up mechanism with a clear plastic cap on top. The product is in the form of a thick stub, just like a lip stick.

Texture:
It is super creamy and blends beautifully like a powder blush would blend on cheek. A sweep might look scary, pale pink and one might feel that it might make one look like a pink-cheeked clown but it blends into a subtle pink shade with just right amount of shimmer for a highlighter shade but a tad too much for a blush.

Pigmentation:
A sweep will give enough flush to the face to pull off a work look or a day look. One can go a mile further and build further to get very obvious pink on cheeks but I personally detest obvious, delineated makeup. One can also choose a light and dark shade from this range and use them simultaneously, if they are deft in contouring and highlighting. The product looks equally pretty in daylight or soft white or florescent light and it photographs really well. It instantly brightens up a dull, ashy face, however, one must use a concealer to hide all blemishes least they accentuated by application of blush. Once applied, the product stays intact, till one removes makeup or obviously rubs their face against a surface.

Shade:
Pale pink is a very pretty color but is not meant for my dusky complexion since it is too pale and is not visible that obviously. Also, it has a bit too much of shimmer, hence it can be better used as a highlighter rather than a blush.

Not this particular shade because it is way too pale for me and has bit too much of shimmer, however, fair skin tone beauties should give this product a try.
