Hiiiii all the gorgeous divas!!! I am happy today. Why? Because after so many days the winter sun is finally shining in Lucknow. There is something positive about sunny winter days. I just love this happy change from the monotonous gloomy weather we had been experiencing since last week.

Coming to today’s review, it is another Maybelline Lip Polish. So, let’s get on with the review to find out how it fared on my rato-meter.

Price, Packaging, Description and My Take on Maybelline Lip Polish in Glam 6:

What attracted me towards this mini lip beauty was the packaging. A bullet, which is actually a container! That’s pretty cool. Plus the fact that it is a lip colour, a lip gloss and a lip balm, all in one just for Rs. 450/-!! Not a bad deal at all. I immediately ordered one online. Actually I wanted to pick two, but then my better sense prevailed and I ordered one on a trial basis, promising myself that I shall get another shade as soon as I find it worth my money ( hihi , you know that CA Buddhi na, budgeting and worth for money ka concept ).

I love, love and just love the applicator. I was very sceptical about it, really because it was a new shape and from the reviews looked like a mascara wand!! ( I know, silly of me ). To my surprise, this palm shaped applicator is even much better than the lip brushes. It is amazing. Even if you are applying this kind of gloss cum colour for the first time, this applicator makes it super easy for you.

Can you see the palm shape of the wand in the picture? The flat and slightly slant shape of it is excellent for smooth and easy application.

The shade which I have got it “Glam 6”. It is a plum shade, more on the pink side. It is a beautiful shade, and I fell in love with it on first sight, literally. It is a shade which can brighten up your face instantly. Just your favourite bb, kohl, mascara and this shade, and you are done. It looks so pretty.

On application, it is the smoothest, creamiest lippie I have ever tried. Trust me on that. It soothes your lips like a balm. One swipe, just one swipe is what it takes to give an awesome colour to your lips. Your pout will look lustrous.

As far as the staying power is concerned, it stays for a long time. It will survive snacks, but if you take a full meal, the moisture and colour will be gone. However, don’t worry, depending on the shade you have chosen, it will leave a stain, which will look pretty depending on the fact that your lips are not dry or peeling. The particular shade which I have, i.e. Glam 6, leaves a soft pink one. Given that it is a super moisturising colour, I do not mind the staying power and stain, because for that, its staying power is probably the best compared to other counterparts.

No SPF at this price. Should have given it. Then it would have been perfect with no cons ( I know I am greedy *drool* )

Oh yes. One more. The ridiculous name. Maybelline!! Could you not come up with something actually related to the color????

My Rating for Maybelline Lip Polish Glam 6 is 4.5/5 (I could not deduct more than 0.5 for the afore mentioned cons. Just love it so much) *happydance*

Yes. Go grab it. It is the best among the best for me. I love it and I am going to pick another shade super soon, in fact, today itself.
