My Experience with Maybelline Master Glaze Blush Stick – Make A Mauve:

Crème blushes are my favorite kind of blush product. I am a bigger fan of anything crème rather than powders because they favor my dry skin better and I do not have to worry about them accentuating my dryness like powders usually do. I have previously reviewed this same product is the shade “Coral Sheen” here on IMBB. Having been impressed with that product, I wasn’t disappointed to try another shade from this line.

Packaging:

The stick packaging is super easy to use, store and take with you on travels. Absolutely fuss free and convenient.

Shade:

The shade “Make a Mauve” is a plumpish mauve. This shade looks absolutely wonderful and flattering when I pair it with my darker berry fall lip colors. The pigmentation is very good unlike the “Coral Sheen” shade which did not show up on my skin well since it was too light. This shade shows up easily on my NW 23 skin tone and I don’t need any more than one swipe on each cheek. The color does sheer out as you blend and the finish is creme to powder. There is absolutely no tackiness or greasiness left behind and it just virtually sinks into your skin.

The product blends very easily. You can use either your finger or a small stipple brush, both work equally well. It does contain quite a good amount of shimmer which can look very notable if you are under direct sunlight but the shimmer is not very gritty and in normal lighting they don’t seem prominent and just impart a glowy dewy look. If you are not a fan of shimmer, you should absolutely skip this product.  Neither the shimmer nor the product itself has ever accentuated my pores or dry patches on my face.  These blush sticks by Maybelline feels very similar to NARS multiple sticks and some may consider these as dupes for NARS.

Staying Power:

The color stays 4-5 hours on me and fades evenly, the staying power is good in my opinion.

Fragrance:

I do not detect any unpleasant or off-putting scent.  Overall, I am thoroughly enjoying this product and I am especially a fan of this particular shade. It is very flattering on my skin tone. I will recommend this product.

    1. Yes since this has a cream to powder finish i think it will be suitable even for oily skin.. Is t the color gorgeous and perfect for winter time

    1. Even though I don’t mind the shimmer in this, a matte version of this product would be really awesome.. I hope they do come out with it due to customer demand ( I hope you are reading this Maybelline)

    1. Yes .. and hope they launch it soon.. its so sad that Ladies in India are deprived of newly launched products elsewhere for so long..
