It comes in a round plastic case, see through lid. Once you flip one the mosaic hi-light blush pan, you get a brush beneath with a mirror. Cute and compact! The brush is just average, nothing really great, but good for beginners like me 🙂 The packaging kinda looks flimsy as you can see in the pictures, but I have dropped it a couple of times, nothing really happened to it or the mirror.

My take on Maybelline Master Hi-light Blush:

The shade that i have got is nude. There are 3 other shades in this variant: PINK ROSE, CORAL, MAUVE. I am not much into blushes, but I love to try highlighters! So when I chanced upon this, I picked it up in NUDE so I could use it just as a highlighter. And it works perfectly! It has very fine micro silver and golden shimmers that does not look gritty at all. All the 4 basic nude shades in the mosaic blend together beautifully to give a very dewy glow.
It does work amazing as a highlighter, but it does not really impart any color to the skin. And it photographs pretty well too 🙂 This product is a boon for people like me who can easily go over the top with blushes 😛
The staying power is pretty good too! It easily stays upto 8-9 hours. It might stay even longer, but I have never had it for more than that period. For people looking for blush plus highlighter, There are other shades available which might impart color.

Pros of Maybelline Master Hi-light Blush

Amazing staying power.
Perfect for both day time and night time wear.
Imparts a very radiant glow that does not look OTT.
Shimmers are not gritty, Awesome texture and very smooth to apply.
Fragrance free
Compact packaging that is sturdy too!
Photographs amazingly well.

Cons of Maybelline Master Hi-light Blush

  • Since this does not really impart any color ( the blush part in this particular shade is zero) people looking for it, can try out other shades.
  • The packaging could be flimsy.
  • Brush not so helpful.
  •  May not suit oily skin due to the shine.

Definitely recommend.
Going by the rate at which I am using this, i might run out of it sooner or later, Will surely try out other variants in this!
