Maybelline Moisture Extreme Lipstick – Earthly Taupe Review

Today, I am going to do a review on a lipstick from the “Maybelline Moisture Extreme” range in shade “Earthly Taupe 816.” I saw this lipstick kept in my mom-in-law’s dressing area and I tried it on. Here’s my review of the shade.

My Take on Maybelline Moisture Extreme Lipstick – Earthly Taupe:
The shade is an earthly deep dark brown color. It’s a pretty dark shade, but I cannot wear it easily because I feel it is too dark for every day wear. I personally like dark shades but only occasionally. The finishing is glossy as are all lipsticks from the “Moisture Extreme” range.
The texture is very creamy and it’s not at all drying on the lips. You need not apply a lip balm before you apply any color from this range as the name says its “Moisture Extreme.” It also has SPF 15. The lipstick is super pigmented and goes on smoothly on the lips. It is very creamy and it has that melting problem, but no problem with the color settling into the fine lines.
The packaging is decent and durable. It comes in a brown-colored packaging. The color stays on for 3 to 3.5 hours with food and drinks in between after which it fades leaving a brown tint on the lips.

Hell yeah, I will try to get other shades in this range, maybe pink and corals. I just love its texture and its very decently priced, will surely pick more colors.
