My Experience with Maybelline New Master Glaze Blush Stick – Coral Sheen:

As we all know “creme blushes” are trending right now. I had my eye on this Maybelline product ever since it was newly launched in the market.

Packaging:

I love the very convenient hassle-free packaging of this product. A simple twist up tube with a secure cap, perfect even to put into your purse or take with you while travelling.

Shade:

I decided to get this in the shade “Coral Sheen” as it was still summer time when I started to use this and coral screams summer to me.  The blush itself is very easy to apply. You can either swipe it directly to your cheeks and use a brush (I use my ELF small stipple brush) or use your fingers to blend it out. It does sheer out as you blend and the color isn’t as intense as with the first swipe. The color definitely needs to be built up to show.

The finish is cream to powder and you literally cannot feel any product on your skin once it sets. There is no tackiness or greasiness. It does impart a nice dewy finish due to the insane amount of shimmer particles it contains. The shimmer looks very apparent in direct sunlight, but in normal light, it just looks dewy. If you are not a fan of shimmery/glittery products, you will hate this one.  Even though it does contain a lot of shimmer, I do not find they accentuate my pores, but the problem arises when I want to build up the color with multiple swipes.  I am also building up the layers of shimmer till the point I can look like a disco ball.  So less is definitely more in the case of this product.  The product provided is very less for the price and I do feel I will run out of it quick.

Staying power is okay.  I do find the color stays on me for 4 hours after which it starts to fade, but the shimmer still remains apparent.  It does not have any strong or unpleasant scent.  Overall, I do enjoy using this product as I am already a huge fan of creme blushes.  They do remind me very much of the NARS multiple sticks.  I would recommend this to those who love dewy finish and have no problem with shimmer.

  1. Looks so good, Neha! 🙂 I have wanted to try these, but have been afraid to because of my oily skin! 🙁 Nicely reviewed! 🙂
