How are you doing? I am back with another review. l am a lipstick collector and love to collect lipsticks of different shades and brands but I love Maybelline the most because they are very affordable and easily available. Last week, I bought three shades of Maybelline color show lippies. Now I have decided to review one of them, which is a very pretty red shade.

So let’s see what my experience with it is like!

Price: INR 299 for 3.8 gm.

Product description: It comes in 27 different shades, with bold color which defines your lips perfectly in single swipe. It is very moisturizing and stays on lips for four to five hour without smudging and smearing.

How to use: Applying your lipstick by staring from the center in lips. Work on the center to edges of your lips for gorgeously perfect finish.

Shelf life: 36 months from the date of packaging.

My experience withMaybelline Color Show Lipstick 211 Red Rush:

It comes in a black plastic tube with a black plastic cap. The packaging looks pretty but it is made of very low quality plastic. The cap is breakage prone. It breaks very easily if we don’t use it carefully. The code and the shade name are written on a sticker at the bottom of the tube.

It is a very pretty red shade. I love this red. There is no shimmer in it. I love the lipstick with no shimmer. So it is perfect for me. The lipstick is highly pigmented. The color gives opaque finish in one swipe, just one swipe and you are done. The color brightens up your face.

Texture of the lipstick is quite smooth and creamy. It glides on the lips like butter. It is super creamy without being sticky. It feels light on lips and lips feel moisturized and this range does not dry out lips. It becomes cakey if over applied no doubt.

It has a good staying power. It stays on my lips for pretty 4-5 hours with light snacks and needs touch up after a meal, it fades unevenly. It leaves a beautiful stain behind since this is a red lipstick. But my sensitive nose does not like its smell which thankfully fades away after 2-3 minutes.

Yes, absolutely I love the color. I will also try other shades from this range. They are very affordable and worth the  price.
