My Experience with Maybelline Super BB Cushion Fresh Matte SPF 25:

Beginning with the packaging of the product, the BB cushion foundation comes in a beautiful turquoise blue cardboard box. The box bears the entire product-related information on it. Inside, this box comes a nice blue and off white colored BB Cushion tub. The tub opens with a nice press and open lid, which shuts tightly making an audible click sound and makes the packaging fit for carrying around. There is a mirror attached with the lid. The puff applicator rests on a plastic tray above the cushion base. The BB cushion is located at the base of this tub. Overall, the packaging is really nice and travel friendly as well.

The applicator is soft and foamy. There is a band attached at the top of the applicator bearing the brand’s tagline printed on it. The band helps to provide nice grip and makes this applicator easy to use. Just apply the BB cushion in light press and release motions. The product sinks into the skin effortlessly and gives a very natural finish.

The BB Cushion comes in two shades “Light” and “Natural.” I had chosen the shade “Natural” since it has slightly warm yellowish undertones. This shade perfectly suits my skin tone and looks very natural on my skin, so I am glad that I had found my perfect match. It almost looks like my second skin, it blends beautifully into the skin. One swipe is good enough to give medium coverage. It feels so lightweight on the skin.

The texture is really lightweight and thin. It looks smooth and even. The formula sets to a perfect matte finish. The finish is nice and does not look flat. The formula is non-drying and does not emphasize dry patches of the skin, but it is not capable for hiding acne scars. I have large skin pores which look somewhat minimized as this product gives a blurring effect on the skin. It does not look heavy and cakey either. It gives a healthy glow to the skin and does not clog pores.

I have acne-prone skin and this BB cushion does not break me out at all. It does not crease at all and does not settle into the fine lines. It helps to hide skin imperfections up to some extent and looks even on the skin. The BB Cushion comes with SPF 25, which makes it fit to be used outdoors. This prodcut claims to control oil but it could not keep my skin oil free for more than 2 hours. The longevity is around 4 hours approximately on my skin.
