Though I am in love with my LA Girl Pro HD concealer, still, I always end up trying new stuff. Maybelline has been one of my favourite brands, so thought of giving this concealer a try! My Experience with Maybelline Super Stay Better Skin Concealer + Corrector:
Packaging: The colour combination of this concealer packaging is flesh-toned and bright blue. Maybelline Super Stay Better Skin Concealer + Corrector comes in a cylindrical bottle with a blue cap which has a metallic finish. It is pretty handy and would fit anywhere. The bottom part of the tube is a see-through one so, you can compare the shades and pick the one that matches your skin tone. There are some five shades in the range which are pretty good, and they have shades for all the skin tones. The wand is perfectly shaped and works well to dab the concealer on the imperfections. The price is fair enough since most of the concealers are priced at the same cost.
Shade, consistency and feel on the skin: The shade that I picked up is light/medium. And, the shade matched my skin tone quite well. But, a darker shade would have been good too. Around the eye areas, it appears to be a bit brighter than needed, but once I set it with a loose powder, it works fine. The consistency is super creamy and moderately thick, and this one comes in a liquid form.
It feels light on the skin but, it does change its texture a bit after drying. It turns out to be a bit dry on the skin and settles to a powdery form. It is perfect for oily skin, but if you have dry skin, be cautious as this might accentuate the dry patches.
Results: The concealer has a sheer to medium coverage, which is pretty okay. It does conceal minor imperfections. As the concealer has a liquid consistency, it does not provide a full coverage. In fact, it gives a little lesser than medium coverage too. Also, it does not have any colour correcting properties. I couldn’t see any reduction in my dark spots. Maybelline claims to use the concealer for three weeks, which is certainly not possible because we do not use a concealer every day. I don’t think this one worked that well for me, like the other concealers from Maybelline.
Pros of Maybelline Super Stay Better Skin Concealer + Corrector:
- Great packaging; looks attractive.
- Good choice of shades to choose from.
- Handy and affordable.
- The consistency is thick and creamy.
- Easy to use.
- Conceals imperfections moderately.
- Brightens up the eye areas.
- Stays on the skin for around 4-5 hours and more, when set with a loose powder.
Cons of Maybelline Super Stay Better Skin Concealer + Corrector:
- Settles into a slightly drier finish rather than creamy.
- Has sheer to medium coverage.
- It does nothing in lightening the dark spots.
- Might accentuate very dry patches on the face.

Will I Repurchase/Recommend Maybelline Super Stay Better Skin Concealer + Corrector?
No, either would I buy it nor would I recommend it because we have so many better concealers out there that work really better.
Conclusion: I really like creamy concealers more than the liquid ones, because these just fail to give a good coverage.
