My Experience with Maybelline Superstay Forever Coral 10HR Tint Gloss:
Packaging:
The product has very different packaging from the usual lip glosses that are available in the market. The body is kind of an hourglass shaped, white opaque tube with color coded twist up cap over it. The color of cap determines the the true shade of lip gloss. The twist up cap is connected with the applicator with the help of a transparent and thin pipe. It has a tear drop applicator that is bent at an angle which helps in precise application of the lip gloss. This whole packaging makes the applicator very delicate and one should be very gentle as excessive pressure during application would break applicator wand.
Texture:
The gloss has gel type consistency and fair pigmentation. With its tear-drop applicator, the gloss application becomes more precise. It has mild and fruity scent to it which is very pleasant. It is very cool and refreshing on the lips and feels very light too. It do not feather and does not accentuate any flaws of the lips. Also, it does not settle into the fine lines of the lips.
Efficacy:
This range has just a limited number of shades. My experience with this shade has been quite nice as it is a red color with orange tone in it. I think this is the ideal shades for all complexions. It feels very cooling on the lips almost as if I have have rubbed peppermint on my lips. Also, this tint does not feel dry and does not dry out the lips. Rather, it’s quite moisturising. It takes 2 to 4 minutes to set on the lips and once set, it became sticky. But, I feel the best thing about it is that it does not dry out the lips nor does it accentuate the flaws and fine line.
As the brand claims it to be a 10 hour tint gloss, it is definitely not! It stays on my lips for 3 hours and after having lunch, it got faded and left behind just a subtle tint. But, it can survive light snacks, if not entire meal. It does get transferred to glass and to my coffee mugs. It’s better to use a topcoat over it to extend the staying power of this so-called long wearing tint. But then, what would be the point of having this product that claims to have ’10 hour’ staying power.

Yes, the shade and pigmentation in this range are pretty good, would love to try all of these. This is a pretty good option for lip gloss lovers.

This tint isn’t for the people who love long wear lip colors. It might be used over matching lipstick in order to make it long wear. Otherwise, you can definitely skip it.
