Maybelline has come up with its new range of Superstay Glosses.
Priced at Rs 390
They have lip gloss at one end and clear gloss on the other.
160 Glass Rose : Rosy Pink colour with multicolour shimmer.
770 Sugar Raisin : Goldeny plum colour with brown undertones.
550 Radiant Ruby : Tomato Red colour with multicolour shimmer to it.
680 Chestnut Glow : Beige nudish colour with silver shimmmer
350 Raspberry Glow : Plum rosy colour with very prominent golden shimmer
260 Wildberry Glow : Berry coloured gloss with no shimmer

Maybelline Superstay Glosses claim 12 hours stay. I don’t know about that but the SA literally had to rub oil on my hand for good 30 seconds to remove the swatches. These would just not go. 😛
I think the glosses applied without the clear gloss would be very drying on lips.
I would not call the formula sheer, it’s pretty buildable.

Quite an old lame concept actually!
I had a superstay lip color which I got like 2 yrs back in India..Its like liquid lipstick in one end and lip balmish kind on the other end…THEY SUCK big time. I am getting a feeling these will be very similar to those.

I donot like thse long stay concepts…they are pretty harsh and drying on the lips…I would not mind reapplying my lipstick if needed…rather than have dry/chapped lips…No No from me on this one… :no:
Actually you know Rajol, now I am quite used of reapplying my lipstick. But on someday when I have some insanely busy , I prefer the long staying ones. SO like to keep a good mix of both long staying ones and moisturizing ones. 🙂

I am constantly on the hunt for glosses wid good stayin power..[worst one till date is Street wear crytal shine : only 15 min with no eatin/sipping/ kissing :-* :laugh: ]
Maybelline color sensational ones have pretty nice stayin power..and perfectly moisturising..God knows y these brands do such flip-flops over qualities..after the cement-review..surely not going for this 😀

i hate these lippies…..as soon as u eat smthing oily they start fading away …..that too in bits and pieces….yes they suck big time….everyone plz save ur money fr better things……DONT BUY…. :pain:
Actually yeah these get removed by oil but then almost all lipsticks go off when you eat oily stuff. Oil breaks down the makeup anyways.
