My Experience with Maybelline The Graffiti Nudes Eyeshadow Palette:

Maybelline The Graffiti Nudes Eyeshadow Palette Review

Maybelline, at first, came up with a very beautiful palette “The Nudes”. “Blushed Nudes” and “Rock Nudes” fared well in the market. If you see Grafitti Nudes, you will not call it a nude for sure. By no means, such vibrant pinks and blues can fit into the nude category. Anyways, the best part about these kinds of palettes is that they are perfect to carry, enough options for creating 3-4 eye looks, and most of all, they are affordable. Compared to quads, I personally prefer palettes like these.

Maybelline The Grafitti Nudes Eyeshadow Palette comes in the traditional 12-pan nudes eyeshadow packaging of a plastic body with a transparent cover. A mirror is always a value add for me in any palette, which is missing here. It has an applicator as well, which is not a very great quality. I would prefer using my Real Technique brushes instead.

Now, let’s talk about the shades. If you see, the colours are shimmery and quite vibrant for a nude palette. It covers rose gold to pinks, lavenders to blues and very dark grey as well. The colour payoff isn’t good, so using a primer underneath is a must. My swatches here are after multiple and pressed applications on my hand, and you will be able to see that the intensity isn’t as great as it is on the palette. Some shimmery colours are chalky as well. They have an above-staying power with a primer underneath.

Starting from the top left,
Shade 1: It’s a highlighter colour that is very mild, but looks chalky when applied.
Shade 2: A very faded purple shade that provides a less colour payoff, and looks chalky on the eyelids.
Shade 3: A deep black shade with a good pigmentation that is easy to blend as well.
Shade 4: A lavender shade, which is creamy that blends effortlessly onto the eyelids.
Shade 5: A rose gold shade that has a good texture, making it easy to blend.
Shade 6: A greenish greyish colour for the outer corner of eyes. It has a creamy texture that is easy to blend.
Shade 7: It’s a pale goldenish colour, which is hardly visible. It can be used on the inner corners of eyes.
Shade 8: A very nice pink colour on the palette, but disappointing on the skin. A good primer will help to make the colour pop up.
Shade 9: It’s brighter than shade 7. Its creamy texture makes the application easier.
Shade 10: It’s the most vibrant of the lot but looks slightly chalky on the eyelids.
Shade 11: It is an average looking gold colour with a creamy texture.
Shade 12: A whitish shade that is very chalky.

Will I Recommend/Repurchase Maybelline The Graffiti Nudes Eyeshadow Palette?
In my opinion, this is a very average palette, but if you consider the price point, you can go ahead with buying it. If used with an eye primer and a little creativity, it will add value to your vanity.
