How are you all doing?!!!! I am pretty much tired of the summer vacation right now, have been to couple of places in US and now finally back to the den, Michigan. Summer is awesome here in MI, finally people are coming out of their houses and hanging around. I love the open space restaurants here, the night dinners out in the open spaces are just heaven for me and I get to meet many new people always. Well, the only thing which matters here is the way you look, it adds up the level of confidence with which you can easily start up a conversation with a stranger and you never know who is gonna fall to your looks 😀 😀 :D. For me, it starts with the eye contact, so I am very particular about my eye makeup. I am not a makeup lover, but inside me, there is a little make-up freak who sometimes does everything to get that perfect look. But usually on a normal day, I just do eye makeup and apply lip gloss which works fine for me.  In the university, I don’t need much more for an ordinary day :D. Here I am sharing my experience of an awesome mascara of which I am a die hard fan! It’s from my favorite brand Maybelline.  In my opinion, there is no brand which can compete with Maybelline in eye makeup section. I am a big time fan of Maybelline Colossal kajal and mascaras.

My Experience with Maybelline Volum Express Pumped up Colossal Mascara:

I am very picky when it comes to eye makeup products, I trust Maybelline like hell. Every product I have used from this brand has given me complete satisfaction.  So here I am going to share my experience with Maybelline Volum’express Pumped Up Mascara. Firstly, eye makeup is very important even if you are not makeup savvy. The bare makeup look is perfectly fine but still a touch of kajal and a fine eye lining around your lashes and a glide of mascara on your lashes will make a lot of difference in the way you look. This mascara comes in a very attractive and chic look and a neat packaging makes it even more attractive.

The one that I bought is not a classic black, it claims to be glam brown. It claims to be waterproof and promise to make your lashes 12x volumized.  Are the claims true? Yes!! This one perfectly does its job.  It’s an awesome mascara and the best I have used till now.

It instantly gives that awesome look to my eye lashes that I get lost into my own world for a few seconds when I look into the mirror 😛 😛 Everything is fine except a thing which bothers me, it’s the dryness of the brush. Every time I open the cap, I find it to completely dry, which in turn leads to a bad finish.  So, every time that I use this mascara, I put the tube in hot water for a few minutes and only then, it’s ready to use.

Pros of Maybelline Volum Express Pumped up Colossal Mascara:

• Super cute packaging.
• Adds volume to the eyelashes.
• Gives a very perfect finishing.
• Waterproof.

Cons of Maybelline Volum Express Pumped up Colossal Mascara:

• Sometimes it becomes very dry and forms clumps on the lashes.
• On the packaging, they have mentioned the shade as “Glam Brown,” but it’s a regular black mascara.  I don’t know what that means, but I was expecting that it might give a brown shade to my lashes which I personally thought might add up an awesome look to my eyes, as I have light brown eyes 😀 😀 :D.

Tip:

If your mascara or eyeliner has dried up completely, just put the tube in hot water.  After a few minutes, your mascara/liner will be ready to use. I saw many people adding water to the liner or mascara when it dries up.  This simple tip should solve the issue.

Would I Repurchase Maybelline Volum Express Pumped up Colossal Mascara?

No!!!! I might try a different one from Maybelline.
