Maybelline Colorama Nail Polishes

I have bought loads of nail polishes on behalf of IMBB.  Out of the brands I have tried, I have found Maybelline Colorama to have a vast variety of shades from different color families.  The Colorama range has a lot of finishes, shimmer, glossy, sheer and unlike the Lakme True Wear range, the shades are not limited to the red and maroon color families.  There are a whole lot of shades from pastels to bridal red and this range does have neon colors like yellow, orange, and green.  I had picked up a total of 21 shades from Maybelline Colorama. There are no NOTDs for this set of nail polishes. Do tell me which shade you liked the best, but before, that, some product description from the Maybelline website.

Why You Will Love Maybelline Colorama:

High-gloss nail color with 5 day wear! Combine a visually stunning palette of pigments, pearls and glitters. It’s the ultimate accessory that transforms your look from day to night, fun to funky and classic to daring…in a flash!

Expert Tip:

With one sweep, paint the first line of nail polish up the center of your nail starting from the base to the tip. For the cleanest look, be sure to leave a small space at the base of the nail. Then apply color to the rest of the nail with additional sweeps of polish on each side of the original line. Let your nails dry before applying a second coat.

Price:

Rs. 90 per 8 ml of bottle.

This range of nail polishes have versatile colors and the staying power is quite good, matches up to the nail polishes that I picked up for Rs. 220. It does chip within 2 days, but then most of the nail polishes I have tried do, so no complaints there. One unique factor about this range is that each nail paint has an unique and complex name!

Let’s start now:

Amanhecer:

This is a milky lilac shade that is a bit less viscous than the other nail paints from this range.  Two complete coats are needed for it to solid up on the nails.

Amarelo Sol

Its a true yellow colour. Its bright, lively, and shows its yellowness in one coat itself. If you are into water marbling, you wouldn’t want to miss picking up this colour.

Coral Chic

Coral Chic is a lovely coral pink shade with mobile shimmer in it. It does not show up well with one coat, though two coats look lovely. Must-have shades for those who love pastels because this is a subtle shade.

  1. Good colors. I have just one from this range – Glitter Prata. I had been kicking myself for buying some green and blue nail polishes from VOV that look horrible when applied on their own. I just apply Glitter Prata on top and it is such an amazing transformation.
