Which girl doesn’t love a bit of sparkle, especially on her eyes? Being the eye makeup fanatic that I am, I am more than excited to review a product by one of my favorite brands – Mikyajy. The Mikyajy I – Glitter is a set of 6 striking glittery eye pencils. Without further ado, let’s get right into it.

Product Description:

Mesmerizing set of six striking glitter pencils. They’ll glide smoothly onto your eyes with ease and stay on all day long. The tiny silver glitter particles create a high luster effect while the brilliant colour pigments enhance the eyes with a pearly shine.

Price:

AED 116, that is roughly INR 2000.

It is slightly on the medium to high end, but considering you get 6 different coloured eye pencils, this is not a bad bargain. Thumbs up, if you can manage to get it on sale or during any other promotion.

Packaging:

The pencils come in a rectangular tin box with a slide-to-open lid. The box has a metallic finish with rainbow colours in the background with the Mikyajy logo and the name ‘I–GLITTER’ printed on the top. The box is so user friendly and spacious that I now use it to store the rest of my eye pencils as well.

My Experience with Mikyajy I–Glitter Boxed Beauties:

The eye pencils come in vibrant colours. The different colours are:

• Magic Green
• Crystal White
• Starry Black
• Sparky Purple
• Flash Gold
• Jewel Blue

All of these are my favorite colours when it comes to eye pencils. All of them have finely milled silver glitter in them which makes it ideal to wear to a party or mostly during the night.

The Crystal White colour can be used in the inner corner of the eyes to give them a beautiful highlight. These pencils are not very pigmented and two or three strokes need to be applied to achieve the perfect finish. The down side is that they do get smudged easily that means you need to be really careful with your makeup while you’re wearing it.

The sharpener provided in the box is extremely high quality and ideal for these or any kind of pencils. However, you have to keep cleaning it to make sure the dark colours don’t leave stains on the light coloured pencils. These pencils can also be used as eyeshadows and they blend in beautifully with other colours.

Dania’s Tip:

Take a lighter. Expose the tip of the pencil to the flame for about 4-5 seconds. Let it cool down a bit. Now, apply the pencil. It glides so smooth, like never before! This tip can be followed for any kind of eye pencils and it gives a very smooth application with lots of pigment that makes a perfect finish.

• The box serves as a great case for other eye pencils as well.
• Can be substituted as eye shadows.
• Finely granulated glitter.
• Value for the price paid.
• High quality sharpener.

Cons of Mikyajy I–Glitter Boxed Beauties:

• Pencils need to be sharpened frequently (which is a big task for a lazy person like me)!
• Smudges very easily.
• Not very pigmented – requires 2-3 strokes for a perfect finish.
• Available only in the Middle East.

A 100% YES! I will definitely recommend everyone to purchase this amazing box and I will definitely purchase this again.

Verdict:

Finally, I would like to conclude by adding that how often is it that you find 6 vibrant colours in one single box? The I–GLITTER pencils are the glitteriest eye pencils I’ve ever come across. Also, these pencils have multiple uses. They are so blendable and can also be built up easily. Absolutely true to its name, the Mikyajy I-Glitter is a definite hit. I only hope they start shipping worldwide so that all you beautiful people out there can know what I’m talking about.
