Mikyajy Watermelon Pink Charming Matte Lipstick Review

I saw a Mikyajy counter in Dubai, I had never heard of the brand before, but I wanted to try the lipsticks because of their pretty gold packaging. The shade that I gravitated towards the most was this shade called “Watermelon Pink.”

My Experience with Mikyajy Watermelon Pink Charming Matte Lipstick:

This lipstick come housed in a beautiful golden plastic tube with the brand name engraved on the top of the lid and the brand name printed on the bottom of the tube. The tube is also very uniquely shaped. The bullet has Tatcha Kyoto red type of bullet which is supposed to offer precise and detailed application.

“Watermelon Pink” is a stunning summery pinky coral red shade which would suit a variety of skin tones. Though it claims to be matte, but I don’t feel it’s matte at all. It has a satin finish, which was quite surprising since they claim to be matte, but I still like the formula and the color.

This color is absolutely stunning and very unique from any pinky coraly red shade that I have in my collection. On my lips, it does pull more pinky coral than red.

This lipstick is very pigmented and offers medium to full coverage. For full coverage, I need 2 to 3 swipes, without any lip liner. This doesn’t not bleed around, so there’s no need for a lip liner.

I also prefer wearing it as a stain and it looks very pretty. On the lips, it feels very hydrating and comfortable, but gradually does feel a bit drying as the time passes by. It clings on to dry patches of the lips so make sure you exfoliate lips prior to application. I absolutely love the fact that the lasting power is 6 to 7 hours even with meals, and that’s pretty impressive.
