Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso Review
Today, I am going to review one of my most-used blushes. I hope you like it.
This silky blush with benefits can be used so many ways. It shapes, it contours, it highlights. Sunbaked on Italian terracotta tiles, it’s buildable from sheer to vibrant. Yes, it adds a cheeky pop of colour to your complexion. Radiance and warmth, too.
Glide brush through color and lightly tap off excess powder. Lightly apply to cheeks, forehead, chin and/or nose and blend well for a soft glow.
$8.49 from Walgreens.
My Experience with Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso:
I was on the look out for an everyday blush in coral shade. I have always worn blushes in pinkish tone, but I have always thought coral blush will look more natural on my medium wheatish skin. So when I spotted this in nearest pharmacy, I instantly bought it because the color perfectly fits my definition of natural blush.
This product comes in a golden plastic case which looks very classy to me. There are two compartments, one contains the blush and other contains the brush. I did not have much expectation from the brush because usually they are not good and we don’t use it ever. In this case, I would say brush is not so bad as to just throw it away. Bristles are soft enough, but it is flat topped. You might use it in emergency when you don’t have your fluffy brush and it won’t scratch your face. Brush compartment also has a mirror, that is quite handy.
Color is a true coral shade with very fine golden shimmer in it, the glitter is not chunky at all, but it is the reason why this blush is called Luminoso. When applied, it gives a very luminous appearance to skin – looks so beautiful, so natural. It makes your skin appear glowing indeed.
I usually pair it with coral/n*de lipsticks and it gives that perfect dewy luminous look to our skin which we always want. It is a perfect blush for daily wear. Do not worry about shimmer. It does not look weird, but just highlight your skin. Color pay off is great but you have to be careful while picking the product. You would think that being a light color, you should pick more product with brush, but it is not the case. Just swipe the brush lightly and you will get the enough product. A little bit fall out occurs but not too much. It can also be used as a highlighter. I have tried it and it works perfectly.
The color lasts on me for 4-5 hours if I am not in a too hot climate. I wore it to a party and it lasted during the whole party and I didn’t have to do touch up.
I have acne-prone skin and it hasn’t made me break out even once.
