Milani Baked Blush in Rose D’Oro Review

Milani Baked Blush in Rose D’Oro

Hello friends!

Hope you are having a wonderful day! Today I am reviewing a blush from Milani’s Baked Blush range. This is the Milani Baked Blush in the shade ‘Rose D’Oro’. The shade number is 02.

Product Details from the Milani Website: This silky blush with benefits can be used so many ways. It shapes, it contours, it highlights. Sunbaked on Italian terracotta tiles, it’s buildable from sheer to vibrant. Yes, it adds a cheeky pop of colour to your complexion. Radiance and warmth, too.

My experience with Milani Baked Blush in Rose D’Oro:

The Milani baked blushes are supposedly dupes for MAC MSFs. This range consists mainly of shimmery blushes and has only two matte shades. The shimmery blushes are available in a range of colors – from pink to coral to mauve to red! Rose D’Oro falls in the coral category.

Packaging: The blush comes in a round gold plastic case with a transparent lid which closes securely. The transparent lid makes it easier to see the blush color without opening the lid. The blush itself is dome shaped and on lifting the blush pan, you will find a mirror and a brush, which can be used for on-the-go touch-ups.

It is travel friendly, though the packaging may seem a bit bulky! Like most baked products, you will find that the pattern on the surface of the blush is very unique, with the light and dark swirls of coral interwoven with gold veining. The main reason why I bought this blush was because I love how pretty it looks in the pan!

Color: Milani describes this blush shade as a ‘Soft Rose with a Golden Glow’. Actually, it is not rose at all. It is a peachy coral shade with gold shimmer. It is a really pretty shade and would suit all skin tones. This blush is supposed to be a dupe of MAC Stereo Rose MSF.

Pigmentation: This is a highly pigmented blush and a little goes a long way. Make sure you start with a light hand and build it up as needed. The swatch below does not do it justice. It is much more pigmented than it appears here on camera.

Texture and Finish: The texture of this blush is quite soft and silky and it blends very well. It is a shimmer finish blush and will add a nice natural warm glow to your look. The shimmer is very fine and you will not find any chunky glitter. It acts as a blush cum highlighter.

Longevity: Lightly applied, the blush lasts for over 6 hours on my very oily skin. It faded slightly after that, but had not disappeared completely even at the end of the day. It would definitely last longer on not-so-oily skin or when applied more intensely.
