Milani Flamingo Pose Color Statement Lipstick Review

Hope you are having a great day! Today, I am reviewing a lipstick from the “Milani Color Statement” range. The shade is “Flamingo Rose” and the shade number is 12.

Begin applying from the center of your upper lips and work your way to the outer edges. Same application is used for your bottom lips.

My Experience with Milani Flamingo Pose Color Statement Lipstick:

Packaging:  The Milani Color Statement lipstick comes in a beautiful gold tube. The shade name and number are printed on a color base at the bottom of the tube, the color of the base being the same as the lipstick color. The cap fits tightly enough to carry it in your bag.

Color:  “Flamingo Pose” is a beautiful coral pink shade. It is an awesome color for the spring/summer. Do note that this is a very bright shade. If you are not comfortable wearing bright shades, you can still wear it as a stain.

Pigmentation:  “Flamingo Pose” is a very highly pigmented shade. One swipe gives a completely opaque finish, even on my pigmented lips. Even if you wear it as a stain, you will get complete coverage.

Scent:  All lipsticks in the Milani Color Statement range have a mild melon-like fruity scent. You will smell it only during the application.

Texture and Finish:  The texture of this lipstick is creamy and glides easily on the lips, but it is not so overly creamy that it bleeds. This is especially important with such bright shades. It contains vitamins A and C and feels quite comfortable on the lips. My lips do not feel dry even after hours of wearing this. It is quite lightweight on the lips and also quite moisturizing. This lipstick has a satin finish, with a slight sheen.

Longevity:  “Flamingo Pose” is a very long-lasting shade. It stays put through the day. It does not bleed or feather. It even survives a meal. You will lose some of the sheen, but the color stays put. It leaves a pretty stain on the lips, which lasts until you remove it at the end of the day.
