This is my second product from Milani and my first, from the rose powder blush range. Do I love it more than my illuminating face powder? Read on to know.

A luxurious matte powder blush that features rose petals micro-milled into the powder to bring out the natural rosy tones. This blush is multi-purpose. Use it to shape, contour, and highlight your face. It is easy to use and is streak-free. It is suitable for all skin types and tones.
Glide a brush through the color and lightly tap off excess powder. Then, lightly apply to cheeks, forehead, chin and/or nose and blend well for a soft glow.

My Experience with Milani Lady Rouge Rose Powder Blush:
Packaging:
The 3D rose pattern of this blush is, what I love about it the most. The packaging is extra ordinary and I love it for that. It is one of the treasured blushes in my stack. The compact is pretty sturdy as opposed to being flimsy so it would not break the blush into pieces.
Pigmentation:
The blush is highly pigmented. It can give you a beautiful colour on the face but can also make you look like a clown. A light-handed application is the key. After a little practice and I am finally getting used to, how much quantity will make me look great. I use a kabuki brush for application. Remember, you need to tap off the excess so that you do not need to do any corrections after application.
Staying Power:
The blush has a good staying power, as it stayed for 4-5 hours easily on me. I have combination skin, so it does start to look dewy after a few hours which ends up looking good too, so no complaints! 😛
Texture:
It is not powdery but when you touch the blush, it is a little gritty in feel. Nevertheless, the blush gets applied like a dream! The texture is smooth, when blended. The blush contains no shimmer or sheen so it ends up being a matte finish one. It might end up looking patchy, so concentrate using one area for an even look 🙂

- Because it is highly pigmented, it will take practice to master blending this beauty.
Conclusion:
It is a beautiful product, from the packaging to the actual colour. I love it and the best part is that, repeated swirling does not affect the shape of the rose. A little goes a long way, so this product is definitely a keeper!
