Hope you all are doing great.  Today, I will be talking about another lip product from Milani called Lip Flash Full Coverage Pencil.  It is basically a jumbo lip pencil that is used as a lipstick. It is available in 8 different colors and the one I selected is shade number 04 and it is called photo flash. It is a deep red color that looks like deep reddish pink when applied. It is a shimmery color that contains sparkles in it.

Price:

$2.99 for 2.8 gm.

Packaging:

Its packaging is very simple. It just looks like a normal pencil covered with a plastic lid which is sealed with plastic cover.

Product Description:

My Take on Milani Lip Flash Full Coverage Shimmer Gloss Pencil – Photo Flash:

I have mixed reactions for this product.  I like some features and I dislike some. I bought this product because its name attracted me and I bought this color as I wanted something for my mother.  My first reaction after getting this lip flash was that it looks like crayon with the only difference being that this is used for coloring lips. It’s very easy to apply and does not require a lip liner as this product itself can be used as a thick liner. The best part about this product is its price. It’s only around $3, which is very affordable and Milani gives good quality at such a reasonable price. The product is not very moisturizing, but it does not dry my lips nor does it feel too heavy on the lips.

Photo Flash contains golden shimmer particles that are large enough to be clearly visible. These shimmer particles make it good to be used only during night time.  It cannot be used during day time as it is too dark and shimmery.  It is a gloss pencil which is creamy but requires a lot of touch up as it does not stay on the lips for a very long time. It stays only for about 2-3 hours.  Another problem with this product is that the shimmer stays on the lips even after the color is removed. It’s a little hard to remove the shimmer particles from the lips.

Final Verdict:

This product from Milani is worth a try only due to its low price. Many other similar products are available that are better than this, but may be a little costly. I personally did not like the product very much, but it is not too bad.

Would I Buy Milani Lip Flash Full Coverage Shimmer Gloss Pencil – Photo Flash Again?

I may buy this pencil again, but definitely in a different shade. The only reason I may buy it again is due to its price.

Yes, I do because it is not very costly and can be tried.
