If your cheekbones are not well defined, smile and this will serve you as a guide for application. For added glow to your face, lightly apply blush on your forehead and jawline. If you’re being photographed or video taped always add a bit more blush than the usual to brighten up your look.

My Experience with Milani Mineral Blush in Mai Tai :

I’m a blush lover. I just have 2 foundation but around 20 blushes :). Bought this after seeing a youtube video on this. And I must admit that I’m impressed.

This is a beautiful peachy coral blush, that I always wanted to have in my collection. This shade would suite any complexion from fair to dusky skin ladies. I love the beautiful peachy look this gives to my cheek.

It is very pigmented and all you need is just a very little amount of product to give that beautiful color on the cheeks. Since it is very pigmented, ladies with fair complexion have to use a very light hand while applying. In turn the pigmentation makes it easy for the blush to show up on duskier skin. Check out the swatch for how pigmented it is and how beautiful the blended swatch looks.

Milani blush review

This is just pure color and no talc and no filler. Thus no fall out while using. Blends on very well. As said in tips, I prefer using a bit more blush while being photographed and I love how this blush looks in photos.

It stays put for about 6 hours on me after which it starts fading evenly. It comes with a decent sized mirror and a brush applicator. The brush applicator is not of much use, but can be used when you are on the go.

When I tried to look for this product in Milani website, it was not listed there. I’m not sure if they are going to discontinue this. But it is still available in other website that sell Milani product. So, hurry up ladies, get your blush before it goes off permanently πŸ™‚

Pro’s:

  • Very beautiful color, universally flattering on all skin tones.
  • Very good pigmentation. Very little product required for application and would last for long time.
  • Talc- free. No fall out, does not look chalky.
  • Very good staying power.
  • Blends well and does not go streaky.
  • Very reasonable price.
  • Comes with a decent sized mirror and an OK brush.

Con’s:

I don’t have any con to mention about this product, other than the fact that we need to order it online to buy it.

  1. This is a very Pretty color but, one should be very careful with this as it could look weird if we apply little more.

    1. I use a little more all the time and it looks really nice Raji. Just that it has to be blended very well πŸ™‚

        1. It’s not that bright, I own Dollymix it gives a lovely pink glow to my skin, and I’m near a NW 35 in Mac. πŸ™‚
