Milani Multitasker Face Powder

Milani Multitasker Face Powder

Hello Ladies,

I have to admit that I am becoming a fan of the brand “Milani.”  Being a drugstore brand, they offer good quality products for a fraction of the high-end product’s price. This review is on “Milani Multitasker Powder.”

Milani Multitasker Face Powder

I have fairly clear skin (touchwood :P). On a day-to-day basis, I just use some concealer and a powder foundation/compact. I was using MAC Studio Fix Power Plus Foundation in NC43. It lasted me for almost a year. When that was about to get over (still a bit is left :D), I was looking for some alternative in the Indian drugstore brands, but as  always, they have very limited shade selection which stopped me from picking one.

Milani Multitasker Face Powder

That is when, I got to know about this product while watching a youtube beauty guru’s video. This multitasker powder from Milani comes in 10 shades, which is a very good thing for a drugstore brand.

Product Description:

A luxurious, velvet-soft face powder, specially formulated to provide a dimensional yet natural-matte finish. Provides perfect light to medium coverage.

How To Use:

Glide puff over color and lightly apply all over face. For bronzer or highlighter lightly apply to cheeks, forehead, chin and/or nose. Blend well.

Ingredients:

Please refer to the picture below.

Price:

$.6.99 for 10.5 grams.

My Experience with Milani Multitasker Face Powder:

Packaging:

It comes in a golden color pack with two compartments, one for the compact powder and the other houses a mirror and a puff. This design makes the package a little bit bulky; but nothing that cannot be tossed in a handbag.

Shade:

Since I had to order it online, I made a wild guess and chose the shade “Tan.”  Though it is a tad bit darker than my NC42 skin, it faired pretty well. It did not give me a muddy look.

Texture:

The powder has a very smooth texture. Easy to pick up on a brush or with a puff. It suits my combinational skin. Ladies with extremely dry skin need to moisturize the skin well before using this.

Coverage:

It gives a light to medium coverage as claimed. Use a brush for light coverage and the puff for medium coverage. Use little at a time, instead of using a whole lot of product at once to avoid caking.

Finish:

When I say matte, its not that flat, powdery matte look, but more of a natural matte look.

I have used it:

  • sparingly with a brush to set my liquid foundation.
  • with the puff just over moisturized + concealed face.
  • for touch ups.
  • It has worked well for all purposes. It is truly a multi-purpose product.

Staying Power:

I wouldn’t call it as a super long stay powder.  It is just a powder. Either used over a foundation or worn alone, a touch-up is required once during the day to combat oiliness on the T-zone (I have combination skin).

Milani Multitasker Face Powder

Pros of Milani Multitasker Face Powder:

  • Reasonable price.
  • Smooth powder texture. Gives a natural matte finish.
  • Can be used for multiple purposes.
  • Does not cake up easily.
  • Instantly reduces shine and oiliness.
  • Separate storage space for puff ensures hygiene.
  • Comes with a mirror of decent size, which helps for on-the-go touch-ups.

Cons of Milani Multitasker Face Powder:

  • Choosing the right shade online could be tricky.
  • Contains talc in it.

Final Word:

I would say that this is a good quality powder at a very reasonable price.  You can definitely give this a try without breaking your bank.

Will I Buy Milani Multitasker Face Powder Again?

I have already hit the pan in about 3 months. I will buy it in shade “Light Tan” next.

See you all in next post, bye!

  1. wow it looks quite pigmented.. as in something that would provide good coverage. I love such powders than can be doubled up both as a compact for touch ups and on good skin days, as a powder foundation. Even though you dint get the right shade, you seem to like it quite a lot. 😀

    1. I like to use powder a shade darker than my skin tone 🙂 . also it blends well with the skin tone in sometime.

  2. The casing is soo pretty…and the powder does seem to give niceee coverage…I’d love to give this a try…I hope we start getting Milani products on Indian shopping websites too..Great review Kaps!! 🙂

  3. The shade and case reminds me of the maybelline dream matte compact 😀 Without the golden base ofcourse.very pretty packaging – seems like a good purchase ^_^
