Hope you are having a great day! Today I am reviewing a lipstick from the Milani Color Statement range. The shade is ‘Pretty Natural’ and the shade number is 43.

Application:
Begin applying from the center of your upper lips and work your way to the outer edges. Same application is used for your bottom lips.

Tip: Lipliner helps extend the wear & keeps your lipstick from feathering. When choosing a lipliner shade, match the lipliner to your lipstick shade or match your lipliner to the shade of your lips which will work with all your lipstick shades. Create a custom lipcolor by using a contrasting lipliner and lipstick shade.

My experience with Milani Color Statement Lipstick – Pretty Natural:

Packaging:
The Milani Color Statement Lipstick comes in a beautiful gold tube. The shade name and number are printed on a color base at the bottom of the tube, the color of the base being the same as the lipstick color. The cap fits tightly enough to carry it in your bag.

Color:
‘Pretty Natural’ is a beautiful pink shade which shows up on the lips as a light to medium pink shade, depending on the level of pigmentation on your lips. It is a very wearable shade and is perfect for an office environment.

Pigmentation:
As with all lipsticks in the Milani Color Statement Lipstick range, ‘ Pretty Natural‘ is highly pigmented. One swipe gives a completely opaque finish, even on my pigmented lips.

Scent:
All lipsticks in the Milani Color Statement range have a mild fruity scent. You will smell it only during the application. So it is not a big con even if you are not fond of the smell.

Texture and Finish:
The texture of this lipstick is very creamy and glides easily on the lips. It is quite lightweight on the lips and is also quite moisturizing. It contains vitamins A and C and feels quite comfortable on the lips. My lips do not feel dry even after hours of wearing this. This lipstick has a satin finish, with a slight sheen.

Longevity:
This shade lasts for atleast four hours before starting to fade. It can survive a drink easily. After a meal, you will still have some color left on your lips, but will have to reapply to get the full color intensity.
