My experience with Milani Baked Blush – Red Vino:

Milani’s baked blushes are one of the most popular products in their product line. This range consists mainly of shimmery blushes and has only two matte shades. The shimmery blushes are available in a range of colors – from pink to coral to mauve to red! Red Vino is one such beautiful baked blush in this range.

Packaging:
The blush comes in a round gold plastic case with a transparent lid which closes securely. The transparent lid makes it easier to see the blush color without opening the lid. The blush itself is dome- shaped and on lifting the blush pan, you will find a mirror and a brush, which can be used for on-the-go touch-ups.

It is travel-friendly, though the packaging may seem a bit bulky. Like most baked products, you will find that the pattern on the surface of the blush is very unique, with the light and dark swirls of red interwoven with gold veining.

Color:
Milani describes this blush shade as a ‘Berry Red with Gold Shimmer’. It is a perfect description of this beautiful shade. The blush looks really intimidating in the pan but applied right, it is such a gorgeous flush of color on your cheeks! This is a shade which can be worn by all skin tones.

Pigmentation:
This is a highly pigmented blush, especially being a darker color, but don’t worry! It blends beautifully. Just start with a light hand and build it up as needed.

Texture and Finish:
The texture of this blush is quite soft and silky and it blends very well. It is a shimmer finish blush and will add a nice natural warm glow to your look. The shimmer is very fine and you will not find any chunky glitter.

Longevity:
Sheer applied, the blush lasts for over 7 hours on my oily skin. It faded slightly after that, but had not disappeared completely even at the end of the day.

 A pretty berry red shade with gold shimmer
 Silky texture which is easy to blend
 Highly pigmented
 Blush cum highlighter
 Good lasting power
 Secure travel-friendly packaging
 Adds a natural warm glow to the face

Cons of Milani Red Vino Baked Blush:

 Packaging may seem slightly bulky.

IMBB Rating:
4/5

Recommendation:
Don’t be intimidated by the dark color in the pan! It looks absolutely lovely when applied. If you do not mind shimmery blushes, do try this.
