Milani Secret Cover Concealer Cream Review

Skin type: Oily, acne-prone
Skin tone: Medium tanned

Hello, Beauties!

I recently did some beauty haul as always but couldn’t find time to review the products. Today, I managed to take out some time to review a beautiful concealer cream by Milani. Milani Cosmetics has been recently launched in India, and I picked their Secret Cover Concealer Cream. I find their whole range of makeup a bit pricey in India when I compared it with the US prices. As I love makeup, I had to try it. So, let’s get into the details of this product.

Milani Secret Cover Concealer Cream Review

Price: Rs. 750/- for 7.7g
Product Description:
When you really need to conceal rather than reveal, opt for this full-coverage camouflage cream. An ace at hiding stubborn imperfections like dark circles, age spots, and scars. It’s waterproof, budge-proof and built to last. Plus, it’s the perfect size for on-the-go touchups.

My Experience with Milani Secret Cover Concealer Cream:

Milani Secret Cover Concealer Cream Closed

All the Milani’s products come in a gorgeous luxe packaging, and likewise, this concealer comes in a mini pot with gorgeous gold detailing on a clear cap. It looks very beautiful and luxurious. Since it is a jar container, I need to dip my finger into it, which I feel is a little unhygienic and thus, I always prefer wand concealer which is easy to apply as well. But, I can also easily apply it with a brush to avoid dipping my finger into the jar.

Now, 4 shades of concealer are available in India and I picked the shade 02 golden beige. I was quite confused as I ordered it online. Though it is a nice match for me, but again a poor selection of shades is available in India. It perfectly matches my skin tone so, I can’t use it as a highlighting concealer, which I mostly prefer. It is good for hiding spots and covering dark circles. This shade is perfect for Indian tanned skin tone. Also, people with medium to dark skin tones can easily use it. I think I should have picked a lighter shade but still, I can work with this.

Milani Secret Cover Concealer Cream Close up

This shade is richly pigmented which beautifully covers my dark circles and makes my eye area look even. It has a nice warm peachy tone that works best for covering up dark circles. It also can hide uneven skin tone, pigmentations, spots, redness, and blemishes. I really like its coverage which is almost from medium to full coverage but, if you have very dark spots then, it needs a little layering or you need to opt for a color corrector. But, this concealer is not that brightening one and so, I need to follow it with a brightener.

Milani Secret Cover Concealer Cream Side View

As it is a cream concealer, it has a nice smooth soft creamy texture that blends effortlessly on the skin and provides a smooth, even finish. It doesn’t feel patchy and I can easily layer it up. It never feels heavy on the skin. I really like its formula, which takes only a few minutes to set and it looks very smooth. But, due to its creamy texture, I need to set it quickly with a compact powder, otherwise, it might crease. It is really good for those who have dry under-eye area. My under-eye area is quite dry and skin is super oily. So, it feels little creamy on the face but feels perfect on under-eye area. It provides a good amount of hydration which keeps the skin soft.

Milani Secret Cover Concealer Cream Shade

This concealer works its best to provide coverage and conceal my imperfections on the face. These days I am experiencing some pimples and this concealer hides that redness as well but, I need to set them well to achieve a flawless finish. Also, it stays on for around 5 hours on my oily skin but, the problem is that the brightness starts to fade after a few hours and it slips from my T-zone after that. It slightly makes my skin look oily if I apply it on my T-zone, so I need to use a primer underneath it. Still, I always prefer a matte finish product for my T-zone.

Milani Secret Cover Concealer Cream Hand Swatch

Otherwise, it works nice and is a good option for normal to dry skin. It also never settles into fine lines. Overall, I really like this concealer which blends with all kinds of beauty tools and provides good coverage to skin.

Will I Repurchase/Recommend Milani Secret Cover Concealer Cream?
Not sure about repurchase, as I prefer little highlighting concealer, but maybe, I will pick a lighter shade in future. But, if you could find a shade to match you best then, definitely you can try this concealer.
