I am really excited about today’s review! I finally found my holy grail brow fixer! Yaayyy for that and you better scroll down if you wanna know what it is 🙂
A jar of this brow color comes along with an angled brush and spoolie on the other side to help apply and spread the color. The brush is very basic but does its job well. It’s stiff and hard, but definitely helps with the application. You can find the ingredients list on their official website. I better get chatty about this because there’s a lot to talk about!
Milani is no stranger brand to us and we all love their blushes. This was an impulse buy and I totally love it. I have been using Anastasia Beverly hills Dip Brow Pomade for a while now and had really liked it so far.
I have some really weird eyebrows and also have a small bald patch courtesy my carelessness in sixth grade! I didn’t know it would cause me so much sadness later on in the future. But anyhow, after trying almost every drugstore brow kits/pencils/gels/wizards, Anastasia’s pomade had almost seemed to solve my eyebrow woes until I lost it on a recent vacation. So, I stuck to using my NYX brow kit until my next visit to Sephora. Meanwhile, I decided to be a fawn and went Halloween shopping to get some brown eyeshadows and picked this in a hurry assuming it to be one of eyeshadow. And that my dearies, is how I found my HG brow pomade!
About Milani Stay Put Brow Color:
Stand out by filling in, like a pro. Count on superior staying power, the perfect amount of brow color, precise application and intense definition. Choose your closest match or combine two shades to achieve the most envy-inducing brows imaginable. Dual-ended, professional brush included.
How To Apply:
Using the angled brush, pick up a small amount of product to outline brows. Fill in by applying color in the direction of hair growth or layer for added intensity. Use the spoolie end of the brush to groom and blend. Remove excess product from brush and close lid tightly after each use.
My Take on Milani Stay Put Brow Color – Dark Brown:
I wouldn’t say this is a dupe for Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Pomade because it’s so much better than that! Anastasia worked fine for me and stay put for pretty long (about 6 hours), but it does smudge if you touch accidentally. Oh, yes it also kinda gave a patchy look sometimes, especially on the bald patch, but that’s the best I had found until Milani.
Milani’s brow color does what it says, STAYS PUT! And it doesn’t smudge/move/fade until you remove it. It covers my tiny bald spot beautifully and actually makes my eyebrows look thicker like real. I have worn it from 8 AM to 10 PM and it didn’t budge until I used a makeup remover. And yes, it is waterproof, the pic below is a proof of that. I clicked that after 9 hours of wear and 20 minutes of drenching in the rain.
There’s a lot of product in the jar and you only need a tiny bit of it for every application. Amazing pigmentation that looks natural. The consistency is thick but not hard, very similar to Maybelline’s famous gel liners texture-wise.
Pros of Milani Stay Put Brow Color – Dark Brown:
- Stays put for the entire day.
- Makes my eyebrows look thicker for real.
- Comes off easily with makeup remover.
- Amazing pigmentation.
- Looks natural.
