Hi everyone,

I had tried Milani’s Stay Put Eyeliner in “Hooked with Espresso” Stay with Slate a few months ago. I really enjoyed using that brown eyeliner, so I went ahead and picked up “Fixed on Plum” and “Stay with Slate.” Today, I will be reviewing Milani stay put eyeliner pencil in the shade “Stay with Slate.” So, let’s see how this eyeliner fared for me.

My Experience with Milani Stay Put Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil Stay With Slate:

Milani Stay Put Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil “Stay with Slate” comes in a grey pencil with a golden cap. The colour of the pencil matches the colour of the eyeliner. The product name “Stay with Slate” is mentioned on the side. The packaging is very lightweight and travel friendly. The pencil is super slender and sleek, which makes the storage easy. Overall, the eyeliner packaging looks really chic and high-end like Marc Jacobs eyeliner.

“Stay with Slate” is a beautiful grey shade. The eyeliner is perfect if you don’t want a harsh look. It’s a good everyday shade. The liner is water resistant. The eyeliner stays on my oily eyelids for 6 hours. It starts to fade on the inner corners first. This eyeliner doesn’t smudge once applied.

The texture of the eyeliner is very creamy matte. The liner glides so smoothly on my lower eye. I find formula very comparable to high-end eyeliners. This eyeliner dries very fast and once applied, it doesn’t budge. The eyeliner is super pigmented and very opaque. Two swipes gives me full coverage. I found it very tough to draw a wing with this eyeliner. I think a liquid eyeliner is better to draw a wing then an eyeliner.

The eyeliner is long lasting. I can easily remove this eyeliner with an oil-based makeup remover. I mainly use coconut oil to remove my eye makeup and it works really well. Overall, I really like this Milani eyeliner and would love to try other colours in this range.
