My Experience with Milani Strobelight Instant Glow Powder Moon Glow:
Packaging: The packaging of the Milani Strobe light Instant Glow Powder “Moon Glow” is sleek and compact. The highlighter comes in a round plastic compact with stunning gold detailing on the sides and bottom. The top cap is transparent and the back specifies the name and the ingredient list. The highlighter has got a beautiful waves pattern which looks stunning in the pan. The compact is very sturdy and light weight. Overall, the packaging is travel friendly and easy to apply on-the-go.
Texture and Application: The Moon Glow highlighter has a powdery finish and is highly pigmented. The highlighter is silky smooth to touch and is not chalky. A flat brush or a fan brush will provide good coverage. These highlighters goes on smoothly on the skin and are easy to blend. This highlighter is intense so go easy while applying this on the face.
Pigmentation and Coverage: The highlighter is super pigmented. You do not have to build it up to get a full opacity. If your goal is to get a natural glow, then go easy on the application, one swipe is all it takes. This highlighter can be easily built up to give an intense glow. You can achieve the day look and a night look with this highlighter.
Shade and Finish: Moon Glow is described as a pearly light pink and it is indeed a beautiful soft pink highlighter. It is not too shimmery or glittery. The glitter is finely milled. This highlighter gives a beautiful sheen to the skin. It did not emphasise any pores or fine lines on my skin. It can be used on top of the cheekbones, bridge of the nose and corner of the eyes to give a naturally luminous skin. There is no duochrome effect. It has a super lightweight and blend able formula that imparts a smooth effect and feels like nothing on the skin. This shade of highlighter will suit light to medium skin tone.
Staying Power: The staying power is good. It stays on for around 6 hours without the need to reapply.
