Hope all of you are doing great. I am back to share my views about another Milk Makeup product with you all. This product is the perfect replacement of loose eye pigments, especially for beginners. However, it definitely has some drawbacks; considering I am still at the beginner level when it comes to eye makeup, I find this product to be a bit tricky. Let’s read more about Milk Makeup Silent Disco Eye Pigment!
What it is:
A vivid, highly pigmented cream eye shadow in a portable tube that delivers bold color in one swipe.
What it does:

My Experience with Milk Makeup Silent Disco Eye Pigment:
The eye pigment comes in a white tube packaging with a flip top opening. The color of the font on packaging co-ordinates with the shade. So, it is easy to find a purple or a brown tube even from the pool of eye pigments as the bright shade name make it easy. Overall, the packaging is quite small, sleek, and travel-friendly.
My shade “Silent Disco” is defined as a brown while it looks metallic-sparkly brown on my skin tone with slightly blackish tint at times. After black, brown is my most favorite color for eye liners or kohls, hence it was not tough to choose this shade. Moreover, this is such a unique brown pigment with the perfect balance of black-golden tint, creamy texture and glittery shine.
I also own Rave from this range. I love both of these for how they impart a sparkly finish, but I find these to be a bit tricky when I use these as all-over lid colors; maybe because of their drying texture. However, when worn as an eye liner, Silent Disco gives a perfect, glittery and smooth finish. The fact that I need not clean the mess up after using these glittery eye products is quite relieving. Needless to say, one swipe imparts intense brown pigmentation with a metallic sheen.
Silent Disco comes up smoothly and looks saturated on my oily eyelids without any primer, though I need a primer to maintain the finish. Oh yes, it is certainly a budge-proof, transfer proof and waterproof formula, but sadly it comes up cakey and clings to fine lines if proper care with a primer isn’t taken. I find it a bit hard to apply on my eyelids as it appears a bit uneven and cakey whether I apply it with my fingers or a brush. You may blame my average makeup skills or lack of practice, but I never get a smooth, flawless base with this eye pigment.
I think unless you are a pro at applying eye makeup, there is no chance you can escape from these issues. Moreover it applies as molten butter and effortlessly slips on skin but then it dries on to a adamant stain which might start flaking off or chipping off with multiple swipes. This is not a major issue as one small drop of the product provides full color payoff. But, for a girl like me, who is still struggling to correct her winged eyeliner, it becomes hard to get smooth finish as less is more with this product. By the time I start filling in my winged liner, the product dries and becomes a stain making it tricky for me to maintain a smooth, flawless finish.
Even if it appears beginner-friendly, it is not as easy as it appears! Anyway, I definitely love its intense color pay off and budge-proof long lasting wear time as it manages to stay intact without any chipping and/or fading for as long as 7+ hours. It comes off easily too with any oil based cleanser or makeup remover. Overall, I would definitely recommend it to beauty addicts who love to try different glittery eye products.
