My Mini L’Occitane Haul
Since falling in love with L’Occitane Brightening Moisture Mask, I have become a regular customer of L’Occitane. However, because this brand is quite pricey, I try to limit myself. Nevetherless, I check out their website regularly and whenever there is an offer or a gift with purchase, I have to surrender and go and check out the products.
These are the products I have bought from L’Occitane so far.
My opinion is that for face care products, it is worth spending more money. However, for bath and body products, I think L’Occitane is quite pricey, so I limit them to little treats only, as I have found less pricey brands which perform just as well.
My staples are the brightening moisture mask, brightening cleansing foam and brightening water for the face. There is also a travel version of the brightening facial foam I recently purchased.
The shampoos and conditioner I use currently are the Aromachologie repairing shampoo and conditioner for dry and damaged hair. I don’t have damaged hair; however, I feel it is a bit dry and the harsh weather in Australia, especially the harsh sun plays havoc on your hair.
Also, the tube (which looks a bit like a cake icing tube) is a soothing scalp mask which I plan to review shortly.
The shea butter hand cream is a bestseller and a handbag staple for me. I recently purchased the Angelica hydration cream which I haven’t started to use yet. (This is what happens when you go on a shopping frenzy and buy items when you already have too many 😉 Also, the delicious almond soap, which does smell delicious. (I have already started using the other soap, I bought two of them).
I received this sling bag with some travel-sized products for a discounted amount (because I bought items for $55) and also the face brush, Angelica cleanser and toner as free gifts with purchase. The brush looks really cute, so I didn’t get the heart to use it yet.
These products are limited editions for Christmas and the most recent products I purchased. Delice des Fleur shower Jelly, Delice des Fleur Body milk, Delice des Fleur hand cream and Delice des Fleur solid perfume. All of them work well if used together. The layering effect gives long-lasting power to the fragrance.
These are the leftover samples and the small shower oil and tiny divine cream were gift with purchases. On the whole, L’Occitane has some products are worth the price (if you take in to account the cost per use, by the way, I’m an accountant by profession). However, some of the products do not live up to the hype.
Hopefully, I won’t buy any more L’Occitane products till 2012, but then, there will be a Boxing Day sale on the 26th!!
