I am always looking out for good facial cleansers that would lather decently, clean my face, and wouldn’t leave my face dry or stretchy; especially since my skin is very dry to begin with. I have tried a few drugstore brands such as Aveeno, Cerave, Cetaphil and so on, although they were not as drying, they were not as moisturizing as my dry skin desires. So, I continued my search and finally decided to add this face wash to my Korean skin care haul. This post the review of a face wash by the brand Missha – Missha Beyond Closet Super Seed Cleansing Foam Grapefruit.

My Experience with Missha Beyond Closet Super Seed Cleansing Foam Grapefruit:
The packaging of this product looks like a kids’ bubble bath – I might be childish for some, but for me, it is childlike and I adore it. All those who are a fan of “Korean product” packaging will enjoy the look of this product. The size of the tube is 150ml and has a flip cap to dispense product when the tube is squeezed.
It comes in 4 different flavors. Most of the description of this product, on the packaging and the website, is in Korean and that’s a big disadvantage for the consumers across the world. Since, I have had good experience with the Korean skin care products, I decided to invest in this cleanser without any further information about it except checking out its flavor.
I have been using this face wash twice daily and it was satisfying to note that it doesn’t dry out my skin or give that stretchy feeling to skin as most face washes do. It is apparently low on alcohols and sulphates because my skin catches these two ingredients immediately.
The fragrance of this cleansing foam makes me feel like I am applying an actual grapefruit on my face. This is the biggest selling point of Korean skin care products – they smell amazing and have such natural fragrance. They never smell of alcohol or other preservatives.
This cleansing foam has a thick, cream-like texture, and when mixed with a few drops of water, it lathers up nicely and leaves face squeaky clean. Overall, I am impressed with this product and do advice others to try it out.

- It does not strip skin of its natural skin and moisture.
- It is, apparently, alcohol and sulphate free.
Cons of Missha Beyond Closet Super Seed Cleansing Foam Grapefruit:
- Availability can be an issue for some, but some Korean websites do ship to India as well.
- I wish the ingredient list was disclosed in English.
- The description is not available in English and that is a disadvantage for people like me.
Verdict:
It is an affordable face wash which performs well. It comes in a generous quantity, has a soothing aroma, add moisture to skin and easily removes dirt and makeup. I enjoy using this face wash every day and recommend it to others as well.
