Mizon is a Korean skincare brand and their “Snail Mucin Essence” and “All-in-One” snail cream are very famous. This sleeping mask is one of their popular products. Now, let’s find out whether it worked for me or not.
Bright and clear skin – whitening effect. Sleep inducing system – deep sleep time
Delicate aroma fragrance. Skin protect coat + hypoallergenic solution – placental protein/ natto gum/ sclerotium gum. Simple special care. No worry for wash off sleeping pack.
10 USD for 50 ml tube.
My Experience with Mizon Good Night White Sleeping Mask:
I started using sleeping masks when I started using k-beauty products and my first sleeping pack was whitening pore sleeping pack from Innisfree. After that, I started using sleeping packs regularly. I have tried quite a few sleeping packs, and this Mizon sleeping pack is one among the many that I have tried.
This product actually comes in two sizes – the 80 ml tub packaging, and the 50ml tube packaging. I picked the tube packaging because it is more convenient and hygienic than the tub packaging.
The product comes in a blue, easy-to-squeeze tube. The sleeping mask is white in colour and has a gel-like texture. It spreads easily without clumping and gets absorbed easily too.
The product claims that it has delicate aroma and fragrance. It also says it has a lavender smell to induce sleep since it is a sleeping pack, but for the life of me, I cannot understand why I could smell coconut more than the lavender note. For me, it smells like coconut candy, which is absolutely delicious by the way!
Nevertheless, the smell is amazing, and not over the top. It must be used as a last step in the skincare routine and it has been advised to use it 2 to 3 times a week for best results.
I take a small amount of the product and spread it on my face after my moisturizer. It takes a while for it to get into the skin if you already have layers of skincare underneath, but I don’t use a heavy moisturizer because of my combination skin, so I had no problem with absorption.
It is not like other sleeping packs which stay as a layer on the skin. It gets absorbed but while rinsing it off in the morning, I could feel the product getting washed off. It could be due to the gel-like texture that it doesn’t feel too heavy on the skin.
It is very similar in its texture and absorption to the Laneige Water Sleeping Mask. While the latter gave more plumpness to the skin, this product helps with brightness, but it lacks in the moisturizing aspect.
If you are someone with dry skin, this sleeping pack might not be enough for you. It is best suitable for oily skin with its light and gel-like texture. Though this was just 50 ml, it had lasted long for me. Only a small amount of product is enough for the face and neck. Overall, this is just a basic sleeping pack that also works well.
Pros of Mizon Good Night White Sleeping Mask:
- Gel-like texture.
- Not heavy.
- Pleasant fragrance.
- Gives the brightness it promises to provide.
- Hygienic tube packaging.
- Highly suitable for oily skin and for every skin type in summer.
Cons of Mizon Good Night White Sleeping Mask:
- It is not moisturizing enough for dry skin.
- It is a perfumed product and it is a big turn off for some.
Would I Repurchase Mizon Good Night White Sleeping Mask?
