My Experience with Molton Brown Templetree Body Wash:
Packaging: Comes packaged in a transparent plastic bottle with a metal coloured cap. The size of the bottle is indeed travel friendly, however in my opinion, an inner cap should be provided to make the packaging leak proof.
I have already reviewed three shower gels, which I had picked from Molton Brown and this is the last one of the lot. I usually prefer buying smaller size shower gels and body lotions if available and then go for the bigger size if I like it; so, that I am not stuck with something that does not suit me or I do not like. Molton brown templetree body wash is a pleasant teal blue coloured shower gel, which can be used as a body cleanser or for a relaxing bathtub soak. Fragrance is flo-oriental, made with exotic notes of jasmine, fruity rose, algae, frangipani and sandalwood. The fragrance is extremely pleasant and last for quite some time. Algae commonly referred as seaweed; helps condition, hydrate, soften and detoxify the skin, while replenishing essential vitamins and minerals. Algae is rich in antioxidants and helps protect the skin against free radical damage and prevents the formation of enzyme, that causes deprivation of collagen.
Templetree flower commonly known as frangipani. The oil of this flower is most valued for its deep and long lasting fragrance. It also has deep cleaning properties, that make it extremely useful for perfumes, skin creams, soap and lotions. It is added to shampoos, hair packs, conditioners and gels as an aromatic ingredient. I pour this body wash on a moist loofah or bath lily and then cleanse my body in circular motions. Body feels thoroughly cleansed, relaxed, calmed, refreshed and pleasantly fragranced. Skin feels soft, supple and hydrated. Can be used for both, morning and evening showers. In my opinion this shower gel can be used throughout the year. Does not dry, dehydrate or irritate my skin.
Even though it mildly moisturizes my skin, I feel it is necessary to use a body moisturizer after showering with this shower gel, especially during winters. Contains sodium laureth sulfate, which could be a con for some of us.
