Hello IMBBians,

Hair masks have been one absolute necessity in my life. I have been trying to keep my mane healthy as I have dry ends and I wanted to tackle the issue. I came across Montagne Jeunesse hair care range and have already reviewed the 3 variants. I recently spotted a new one and today’s review is about Montagne Jeunesse Argan Oil Hair Mask.

My Experience with Montagne Jeunesse 7th Heaven Argan Oil Rescue Masque:

Montagne Jeunesse hair masks provided intense moisturization to my hair. Knowing that argan oil is very good for hair, I had to pick this product. The mask comes in a 25 ml sachet packet like most of the Montagne’s products. I can use the mask for 3-4 times for my chest-length hair. The product is light yellow green in color. The product is rich and creamy. However, a turn off is the smell of the hair mask. It smells like naphthalene balls and the first time I felt a bit weird, but thank God, the smell disappears after washing off. The mask can be used for both roots and hair. I leave on the hair mask for 5-10 minutes and cover with a shower cap and let the mask do its magic.

Montagne Jeunesse 7th Heaven Argan Oil Rescue Masque details

The product has 3 main ingredients: Pressed Argan, Marula and Shea Butter. Marula is a luxury oil that is fast absorbing is known for super hydrating of hair and it is found mainly in Africa (now we know why they have such dense hair). When you wash off, I didn’t notice any difference in my hair. I am reducing towel wrapping my hair as I have been prone to frizz off lately and just press the excess water and allow it to air dry naturally. After my hair was dry, the results were astonishing. My hair was smooth and very shiny, like the parachute advertisements 😛

My hair was also manageable, there were no tangles. I used this hair mask once in a week for a month and I can notice my hair is softer and shinier than ever before. The results lasts for approximately a week and then the hair gets a bit dull. The mask eliminates the frizz almost 85%. I noticed fewer flyaways. My hair ends were also nourished and even though it didn’t make it smooth or perfect, the dry ends were much better and it was nourished and looked healthier. I have oily ends and luckily this product didn’t make my scalp anymore oilier. I have the issue of my scalp turning greasy whenever I use oil-based products and this product was an exception. With its intense hydration and moisturization, it does justice to the price I pay. I would want to buy many of these and use it in a row to see the difference it would make to my hair in long run.
