My Experience with Montagne Jeunesse 7th Heaven Avocado Oil Mud Exfoliating Mask:

Montagne Jeunesse products are my absolute favorite. I have tried almost every product available and have been happy with most of them. Whenever I see a new one, I have the tendency to pick it up. Recently I saw this avocado oil mud on the counters. I, at times, use avocado for hair and skin and when I saw that this mud pack, I picked it up.

The mask comes in a sachet. I really love the packaging and it is travel-friendly. I can put the sachet in my purse and use it on-the-go. The contents can be used one time for the face and neck. The mask is greenish-yellow in color and has the smell of avocados. The kernels in the mask are from the walnut shell. The mask is 2-in-1; it exfoliates and also works as a mask. The mask is easy to spread and takes around 10-15 minutes to dry. I have combination skin, and I feel that once dry, the mask kind of stretches and pulls my skin more than other normal clay masks. I usually wet my face and then massage so that it provides skin exfoliation.

The kernels are not very harsh and they gently exfoliate without causing any redness or irritation. When washed, my face is completely cleansed from within and there is a subtle glow on my face. Along with this, I have also noticed that the mask adds a slight radiance to my skin. However, the results of the glow are temporary and lasts for a day and then fades away. The mask also provides gentle exfoliation. Even though it doesn’t remove any blackheads and whiteheads, it removes the dry skin completely from the face. The key ingredients present also make the skin soft and supple.

The ingredient list also contains a lot of plant origin ingredients and also ingredients that are good for the skin. However, as it contains clay, it does dry out the skin and a moisturizer is a must after the usage of this mask. Without a moisturizer, the skin gets really dry and patchy. The product doesn’t contain paraben and is also not tested on animals. So it is another reason why you need to buy this mask. Overall, a good, ready-to-go mask. And even though it works almost same like any other clay mask, the product is worth a try.
