My Experience with Montagne Jeunesse 7th Heaven Pulped Papaya Rescue Masque:
We all know the power of coconut for hair! I have grown up with my mom telling that coconut oil does wonders to the hair. So, as this hair mask had coconut in it, I blindly picked it up. This masque, like all the other variants, comes in a sachet. The product can be used 2-3 times depending on your hair length. The masque is creamy (like a conditioner) and is white in color. It smells similar to other coconut products available. The fragrance is what I like the most!
The product is easy to apply; you just need to apply it like a conditioner, leave it on and rinse of with water. The product can be applied on the roots and scalp also. It is for weak/fine and dry hair and is claimed to boost volume. The masque spreads easily and the hair and bathroom smells of coconuts while the product is being rinsed. My hair was definitely smooth to touch when I was rinsing the product off. After air drying my hair, my expectations hit rock bottom!
I have oily scalp and dry ends. The masque provided incredible shine to the hair and my hair was looking healthy. But, my hair was so greasy that it was laying limp like oiled hair. I tried to comb and tease it a bit but no go! The volume boosting claim is false and the mask didn’t impart any volume to my hair. It made my hair limp instead.
My hair felt smooth and shiny but you do not want hair to be greasy when you head out! I left it on like that and the next day, after I got up, my hair was looking greasier and was a little sticky and itchy on the scalp. So if you have really dry hair, this is a product for you. For people who have oily scalp and/or hair, this product is a strict no-no! So summing up,
Pros of Montagne Jeunesse 7th Heaven Coconut Protein Rescue Masque:
• Makes hair shiny and smooth
• The masque can be used 2-3 times
• Very nice fragrance
• Detangles hair while washing
• Makes hair frizz-free
