I had purchased a lot of Montagne Jeunesse products and I have been trying to review all of them for you. So, this week, I used the Dead Sea Peel-Off Mask.

My Experience with Montagne Jeunesse 7th Heaven Dead Sea Peel Off Masque:
I have used the Dead Sea mud pack before and considering the fact that I am in love with Montagne peel-off masks, I decided to get this one. The peel-off mask comes in a 10 ml sachet packet. The sachet is blue in color and has pictures of crystals on them. The first thing that came to my mind was it would give me a cooling effect. It took a while for me to realize that the crystals were salt and not ice! Coming to the product again, the quantity is 10 ml and sufficient for one-time use.
The masque is turquoise in color and has a gel-like consistency. The product is very runny. It kept on dripping when I was squeezing the sachet out from my hands and it got very messy. I had the product on my floor and clothes too. I would have preferred if the masque was a little bit thick. The masque is easy to apply and you can leave it on for 20-25 minutes. The product starts to feel dry after 15 minutes, but the mask dries out completely only in 20 minutes.
This mask is recommended for normal to oily skin. The mask is very easy to peel off and one of the reasons why I love the products from MJ. The smell of the masque is very fresh. Once applied on the face, the mask gives a cooling effect, even though it is not like the minty ones, you can sense the coolness on your face. The masque contains 3 primary ingredients – Sea salt, Sea Weed and Chamomile. After washing the masque off, the face is refreshingly bright and squeaky clean. I feel the grime clears off completely and have also noticed the whiteheads from the corner of my nose and below my chin area also disappear without even using a scrub. The skin also looks hydrated and renewed. The real effects of the masque can be seen after 7-8 hours of application. By the next day, I have bright and toned skin. My skin was looking very healthy and the effect stayed for 3-4 days and then the complexion turned dull.
I used this mask 2 weeks in a row and I really loved the result even though it wasn’t long, but face masks can only impart temporary results after all. It leaves skin a bit dry and hence is not suitable for dry skin.
