I love pampering myself with face masks and these Montagne Jeunesse masques are such affordable options and I never get bored of them as there are so many variants to try from. Recently, I purchased the Amore Rose variant. Read on to know whether it is worth a shot.

What the product claims:

Calming oils from Damask Rose petals and deep cleansing Marula Oil combine to hydrate and smooth the skin. Shea butter and Cocoa butter moisturize and deeply cleanse to leave skin soft and silky smooth. Use weekly.

Rs. 150 for 17g

How to use:

Cleanse skin, apply masque, relax for 15-20 minutes and rinse off.

My experience with Montagne Jeunesse Amore Rose Ultra Deep Cleansing Masque:

This masque comes in a sachet like all other masques from the brand. It smells like clay but with a floral touch to it. The masque is a little thick and creamy. I feel it spreads evenly when the face is slightly wet. The masque dries out within 10 minutes and after rinsing it out, I did feel my skin was thoroughly clean. My face was well hydrated and I did not need to apply any cream after this at all. My skin felt soft and smooth and was visibly brighter although the effects last only for about 4-5 hours depending on your skin type. On my combination skin, it lasted for about 4 hours. The quantity provided in the sachet is enough for 2-3 times. The major issue with these sachets is storing them after use but we can always staple them and store them in a box.

• The effects last only for a couple of hours
• The fragrance might not be to everyone’s liking
• Storing these sachets is an issue

Final Verdict:

It is a pretty decent mask if you are looking for some brightening effect before attending an event. As the pack mentions, it will suit normal, oily and combination skin perfectly. However for dry skinned beauties clay based masks are not a wise option.
