As usual, I am back with another face mask review. I can never have enough of face masks, I am more into skincare than makeup as I feel if the skin is in top condition, only minimal amount of makeup is needed. I have used quite a few face masks from Montagne Jeunesse and try out the new ones that the brand brings out.  This brand has never really let me down. Whenever my skin needs a pick me up, I just have to use one of these masks and I’m good to go 🙂 Montagne Jeunesse makes some great facial masks that are easy-to-use, easy on the wallet, and work wonderfully.

I love that they come in so many varieties that are ever increasing and easily available in many countries. Montagne Jeunesse are a cruelty-free and eco-friendly company that has been around for almost 25 years! This creamy coconut mask has shea butter and I used this in winter because I have combination skin. I have split these masks into the ones that are to be used in the summers and the ones to be used in the winters.

We have harnessed the hydrating goodness of fresh Coconut Water and added lots of lovely ingredients to moisturise and hydrate, including super smoothing Shea Butter.

Directions For Use:

Cleanse face with warm water, apply mask, leave dry and relax for 20 minutes, finally rinse.

My Experience with Montagne Jeunesse Creamy Coconut Mud Pack:

I purchased this mask a couple of months ago with some other MJ masks as I wanted to try out the new ones that the brand has come up with. This creamy coconut face mask is super creamy in texture and quite thick. It’s white and looks like a face cream. The fragrance is just like artificial coconut, I’m not too fond of the fragrance as it does not smell natural. This mask spreads easily and I have used this my mask on my face, neck and décolletage in one go. I kept it for around 20 minutes and then washed it off with lukewarm water.

After washing it off, I noticed considerable change in my skin as the whole face including the dry patches looked hydrated and smooth. There was no glow after use which is usually expected from face masks but that might be because this is a moisturizing mask.  If you like the fragrance though, you might feel it helps you to relax and feel pampered over the 20 minutes it’s on your skin.  This must be the second coconut mask I have used so far, the first one was from the brand “Purederm.”

If you have dry skin or if you have combination skin that feels dehydrated in winter, then this is a mask you should try.

Cons of Montagne Jeunesse Creamy Coconut Mud Pack:

• Does not add glow to skin or brightness as other face masks.
• Because storing half-used sachets is a problem, I had to use the whole sachet in one go.

Would I Repurchase Montagne Jeunesse Creamy Coconut Mud Pack?

Not this particular mask as I am not fond of the fragrance, I would rather buy a very berry or the strawberry masks for hydration during winter. This is my personal opinion and someone else might actually like the fragrance.
