Montagne Jeunesse Dragon Fruit Sauna Face Mask Review

I will be reviewing a sauna mask today – from Montagne Jeunesse. This is one of their newer and exotic range of face masks.  As I am expecting my baby at the moment, I feel I’m using more masks from this brand as it’s free from the “nasties.” My skin is behaving okay, but I feel it’s a bit dull, no glow for me yet. This brand is one of my favourites for face masks and none of these masks have disappointed me so far. As I had finished off my Montagne Jeunesse face masks, I stocked up quite a bit recently. I was quite intrigued by the dragon fruit as only last year I first saw and ate this fruit, when I visited Cambodia. This fruit is hard on the outside but inside it’s tender and sweet.

Product Description and Claims:

For a flaming good clean, ablaze with freshly crushed Dragon Fruit from the depths of Central America and pulped Kiwi Fruit, this warming wonder reaches into pores removing trapped oil and dirt, a fiery feast for smooth, clean skin.

How to use this mask:

Cleanse face with warm water only. Leave face wet. Apply evenly over face and neck with fingertips, avoiding eyes and lips. Lie back, relax and enjoy the warming effect for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off with water. Pat dry. Use weekly.

My Experience with Montagne Jeunesse Dragon Fruit Sauna Face Mask:

Montagne Jeunesse face mask is a wash-off self-heating face mask.  These self-heating masks is one of my favourites because they heat up and open up your pores, drawing out the impurities.  The mask is fuchsia pink in color and has black specks which look like dragon fruit seeds, but they might be the lychee seed powder mentioned in the ingredients list.

I dampened my face a little bit and then applied this on my face. It gave an amazing warmth to the skin which was very relaxing. The fragrance was amazing, sweet and fruity – something I love. I used water and a face towel to remove the mask after 20 minutes.  After I washed this off, my skin felt really good, very soft and nourished. I didn’t apply moisturiser as my skin felt well balanced.  The seedy bits were a bit difficult to remove. Black heads on my nose were less visible and my skin looked clear and well balanced.

The seed-like particles provide gentle exfoliation while they get wiped off.  I should have used this in winter, but I just couldn’t wait. I chose a cold rainy day in the middle of winter to use this mask.  I will definitely buy more next winter.

Would I Repurchase Montagne Jeunesse Dragon Fruit Sauna Face Mask?

Yes, I cannot fault this mask and will definitely repurchase. However, I would like to try other masks from the exotic fruits range. I also hope Montagne Jeunesse would introduce new masks in Australia more frequently. Currently, it takes around six months for Montagne Jeunesse to introduce new masks in the Australian market.
