Morphe E41 Round Deluxe Powder Brush Review

I have been trying and reviewing Morphe products for the past couple of weeks. Last month, I splurged a little and bought a bunch of products from the brand Morphe. I wanted to try out some face brushes from the brand, and on the recommendation of some beauty bloggers, I have been slowly collecting some other face brushes as and when they appear in my local beauty store. Buying them all together is expensive so I have been slowly building up my collection.

Morphe E41 Round Deluxe Powder Brush Review

Price: $23
Product Description:
• Soft, luxurious brush with a full, domed head for powder and bronzing. This brush will give a diffused wash of color and a leave the skin with a soft, airbrushed finish.
• Synthetic Bristles
• Full Length: 8 1/4″

My Experience with Morphe E41 Round Deluxe Powder Brush:

ME41 is a large face brush and is the largest I have used till now. It has a large thick stem with a large dome of fluffy bristles. The bristles are held tightly in a metal casing at the end of the stem. The brush looks expensive, appears giant and is super soft.

Morphe E41 Round Deluxe Powder Brush Bristles

The bristles are dark in color with an ombre effect. They are easy to clean; I use rubbing alcohol for spot cleaning or mild dish cleaning detergent for deep cleaning. Till now the brush has not shed any of the bristles. It can be used to apply a loose powder or a compact powder on the face.

Morphe E41 Round Deluxe Powder Brush Handle

If dipped in loose powder it picks up too much of the product and has to be tapped to remove the excess. I don’t use it for this purpose – I apply my loose powder with a wet sponge for face “baking”. I then use this brush to diffuse it after the powder is set and also apply powder on my jawline and my neck to set my makeup.

Morphe E41 Round Deluxe Powder Brush Bristles

This brush has a high density of bristles which are made up of an artificial material. This is preferable for me because brushes with natural bristles absorb more product because of pores in them. Also, I find it easier to clean an artificial bristle brush. It also claims that it can be used for face bronzing but I have not dared to use it for that purpose because it is too large to add depth to the contours of the face.

Morphe E41 Round Deluxe Powder Brush Side

However, it can be used for body bronzing because of its large, fluffy bristle dome, which can cover a large area. It is one of the more expensive brushes by the brand Morphe and rightly so because of the quality and performance of this product.

Pros of Morphe E41 Round Deluxe Powder Brush:

• Worth the price
• Has a dense dome of bristles
• Bristles are perfect for picking up loose product and diffusing it
• Can be used for body bronzing
• Available online on Morphe site and by other third-party sellers
• Easy to clean
• Does not shed

Cons of Morphe E41 Round Deluxe Powder Brush:

• Slightly expensive for a drugstore brand
• Claims that it can be used for bronzing but I don’t see how
• Too large to be travel-friendly

IMBB Rating: 4.5/5
Verdict:
This makeup brush by Morphe is a good face makeup brush. It is super soft and fluffy, picks up the right amount of product and diffuses it well. I do recommend it to readers if they are willing to spend a little extra money.
